They provide on-site support during installation and commissioning, acting as a Design Authority for critical equipment validation. Furthermore, they conduct technical audits of installations and suppliers to ensure high-quality standards. They play a key role in client presentations, defending the technical-economic value of complex proposals. Finally, they drive innovation by developing new standards aligned with the strategic roadmap.The Technical Referents will have to carry out the following main tasks:\nDepending on the phase of the project, the Project Technical Referents contribute in determining the best technical solutions in their field of expertise, participate in the estimation (contribution to “Benchmark and Estimation”), prepare the technical documentation, coordinate the discipline activities, support from a technical point of view the project manager and site supervisors at site during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.\n\nProvide assistance on technical questions related to projects, validation of critical equipment documentation, act as “Design Authority” if nominated through specific process\n\nCarry out audits of installations or critical suppliers.\n\nWhen required, support the presentation to customers of the technical solutions (technical-economic defense of the proposal according to the complexity of the project)\n\nDevelop new standards in accordance with the needs defined (roadmap).\nDuring the Development Phase\nUnder the supervision/coordination of an Offer Specialist or a Project Manager,\nEnsures the analysis and studies of customer needs as required\n\nReview or develop technical solutions related to the systems and apparatus of their own discipline (Electricity & Instrumentation) in compliance with company standards and project technical specifications\n\nParticipate to cost budget estimation, development of request for quotation and check technical offers, lead technical discussions with technology provider and/or systems and equipment suppliers\n\nsupport risk assessment, clarify scope and provide technical input to ensure a safe, reliable and performant solution\n\nDuring the Execution Phase\nUnder the supervision/coordination of a Project Engineer if assigned to the project, otherwise MPT Project Manager\nprovide support for or review the basic design and detailed design related to their own discipline, in compliance with company’s rules and project specifications\n\nsupport the procurement by identifying, pre-selecting and qualifying the suppliers of systems and equipment of their own discipline, as well as subcontractors for engineering and subcontractors for installation\n\nwhen following the project as a specialist, develop the project deliverables and the Material Requisitions with all related attachments (data-sheets, specifications, ITP, vendor document requirements, ecc.)\n\ncarry out the technical alignment of the vendors offers developing the Technical Tabulation and the Technical Bid Evaluation for their discipline\n\nprovide support to the buyer during purchase order definition activities, within the times and costs foreseen by the project, guaranteeing engineering quality in compliance with project and contractual contents, company standards/procedures, and in general all the tasks described above\n\nOther activities\nacquire project and contractual contents related to the systems and equipment of their own discipline (Electricity and Instrumentation), and the applicable technical attachments, highlighting any inconsistencies where present\n\ndetermine and select the systems and equipment of its own discipline in compliance with technological, technical, contractual, economic requirements and company standards\n\nsupport Project Control in the preparation of the project schedule for the systems and equipment of their own discipline and update the activity progress, ensuring compliance with project schedule and the budgeted engineering man-hours\n\ninteract properly with the other Company’s technical disciplines/services to ensure an appropriate flow of information necessary for a correct engineering development\n\nWhen applicable:\nProvides technical assistance to our internal customers (sales, engineering or maintenance teams, etc.), including (but not limited to) a Hotline for urgent matters.\n\nContributes to the evolution of tools (e.g. calculation and sizing tools) and engineering ruleswhen adequate.\n\nContributes to the evolution and development of new standards in accordance to the needs defined (roadmap).\n\nParticipating in the development of training sessions (customer needs understanding / successful installation, intervention on toxic gasses, etc.) and tutorial training for new project managers on the internal organization of engineering and on sizing and costing tools.\n\nAre you a MATCH?\nEngineering or technician Degree\nAt least 5 years of experience in Electricity & Instrumentation in a Primary Production context (engineering or operations)\nAdvanced in English.\nAvailability for occasional missions/trips within SWE cluster\n CORE SKILLS :\nTechnical detailed knowledge in its own discipline and more generally of industrial plant engineering\nIMS knowledge & applicable standards. Safety rules and standards, European and SWE countries regulations. Knows or knows how to research and find applicable standards or manufacturer references for components.\nGeneral strong technical knowledge (Pressure, flow, temperature, thermodynamics, reading and creating a PID, process analysis, instrumentation, organization and operation of the company, etc.)\nElectrical Engineering : recognized skills in MV/HV (Medium Voltage / High Voltage), ability to technically define requirements, develop AF (Functional Analysis), and conduct FAT/SAT (Factory/Site Acceptance Tests).
