The role currently focuses on managing Class II and III projects within the modernization program and ancillary sub-projects that support and accelerate key programs.\nThe Process Control Technology Management\nLead the estimating, planning, execution, and schedule/cost management of Class I, II, and III Distributed Control System (DCS) Upgrade projects, with budgets ranging from $250k to $8MM.\n\nCreate scope of work documents and lead the bid process to select 3rd party contractors.\n\nManage and direct 3rd party contractors for the successful execution of control system projects.\n\nActively coordinate and manage the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for all control system projects.\n\nLiaise with the Engineering & Construction department to ensure control system projects are delivered to plants in accordance with specified standards.\n\nCollaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure control system designs adhere to all applicable standards and closely manage the incorporation of upgrade program standards.\n\nCoordinate with multiple disciplines, including Corporate OT, Electrical, Plant Operations, and Instrumentation teams, to ensure comprehensive project coverage during upgrades.\n\nApply knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and ISA standards, along with a general understanding of the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems utilized in Air Liquide technologies.\n\nRead, interpret, and mark up Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and perform basic process calculations.\n\nProject Management & Financial Control\nManage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating proven competency in scoping, estimating, scheduling (critical path analysis), budgeting, cost control, and design/scope change management.\n\nDevelop comprehensive Project Statements of Work (SOWs) and prepare preliminary estimates for project funding requests.\n\nUtilize project estimates and vendor quotes to establish project budgets (Pre-FEED and FEED studies).\n\nCreate and manage purchase orders and change orders using the Oracle system.\n\nMaintain meticulous tracking of expenses against the budget, providing weekly financial updates to appropriate personnel.\n\nApply industry-standard applications for project scheduling and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\n\nPrepare and submit formal project reports at intervals suitable for the scope and complexity of each project.\n\nProcess Improvement & Strategic Sourcing\nPartner with Field Sourcing Specialists and Supply Chain Management to coordinate proposals, material/service delivery, and the bidding process for all project phases (SOW development, Detailed Engineering, Configuration, and Electrical & Instrumentation field contracts).\n\nSupport procurement efforts in securing beneficial frame agreements with key 3rd party suppliers.\n\nLearn and assess existing Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.\n\nLicensure:Professional Engineer (PE) registration is desirable.\n\nCertification:Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain certification within 18 to 24 months of hire.\n\nExperience\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in control system project management or control systems engineering, encompassing full project lifecycle responsibilities.\n\nProven competency in managing projects utilizing industry-standard project management methodologies and tools.\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse, international organizational structure.\n\nSkills & Knowledge\nTechnical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of leading industrial DCS systems is desired, with knowledge of one or more of the following: Emerson DeltaV, Foxboro IA, Rockwell, Yokogawa Centum.\n\nIndustry Knowledge: Familiarity with ASU and SMR technology process control and the latest technology trends in the field is beneficial.\n\nIT Skills: Basic understanding of the industrial IT domain, including security and interface protocols.\n\nSoftware: Advanced
