With a state-of-the-art production facility in Poland, and HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, and hubs across the UK, Germany and Italy, Aira is well on track to install clean energy-tech into 5 million homes by 2034.\nAbout the role\nAs a Full-Stack Engineer in our Survey & Design team, you'll help build the products that support some of the most important steps in Aira's customer acquisition journey.\nThe team is responsible for the tools used to capture and manage information about our customers' homes, supporting everything from home surveys and technical assessments to installation design. These products help ensure that the right information is available throughout the process, enabling tailored and efficient clean energy solutions.\nYou'll join a small, autonomous product team and work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to solve real-world challenges and build scalable solutions that support Aira's continued growth across Europe.\nAs a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the products and services that power these workflows. You'll work across the stack to build scalable solutions and great user experiences.\nIn this role, you will\nDesign and build applications and services that support users across multiple European markets\n\nDevelop scalable APIs and integrations with third-party systems\n\nProcess and manage data collected throughout the Survey & Design journey\n\nTransform complex technical and geometric data into solutions that support our products and workflows\n\nContribute to architectural decisions and the long-term evolution of the platform\n\nCollaborate closely with product managers, designers and end users to improve workflows, user experiences and product capabilities\n\nExplore new technologies and approaches that help solve real business problems\n\nWe're making home energy design smarter, simpler and more scalable. If you enjoy building great products and solving complex problems in a technically challenging domain, this role is for you.\nWhat you'll bring to the team\nAround 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer\n\nExperience building modern software applications across different parts of the stack\n\nStrong experience with Java and Spring Boot\n\nExperience designing and building APIs\n\nA solid understanding of databases, software architecture and distributed systems\n\nExperience working with microservices\n\nThe ability to turn ideas into clean, testable and scalable software\n\nA proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership\n\nStrong collaboration and communication skills\n\nWe believe you'll thrive in this role if you're curious, analytical and enjoy understanding the real-world challenges behind the software you build.
