You will find solutions to problems, ensure the project works in the interests of both the customer and Aira, and provide excellent customer service along the way. You will have the technical expertise to offer additional products and services we may offer in the interests of the customer.\nWhat you’ll be doing as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira\nHave the necessary qualifications, training, and experience to design high quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.\n\nGather information from the quote, property and your survey data to generate an accurate heat loss calculation and emitter output requirements\n\nFind solutions to any technical issues where possible to ensure an installation can still go ahead\n\nReport any issues which may affect installation to your line manager from the customers property.\n\nKeep up to date with all manufacturer's guidance, and any legislative changes including but not limited to heat pumps, low carbon heating, clean energy, and building regulations.\n\nOperate within required Aira’s efficiency guidelines as well as MCS etc.\n\nWhat might a day look like?\nAttend customer properties in your designated area\n\nConduct a site survey and collect data relevant to the installation requirements\n\nCarry out a room by room heat loss assessment\n\nDetermine which radiators need to be replaced, and communicate this with your customer\n\nAnswer any technical queries the customer may have\n\nCommunicate any price changes with the customer and explain the reason for these\n\nObtain approval from the customer for your proposal to go ahead\n\nCreate a list of materials required for the installation to be carried out\n\nWhat you'll need to have as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira\nYou'll need to have the necessary qualifications, training, and experience to design high quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.\n\nThe following would be useful to have;\nQualifications in System design such as Heat Geek Heating Mastery\n\nLevel 3 Award in installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems\n\nWater regulations certificate (WRAS) course\n\nLevel 2 / 3 Award in plumbing\n\nLevel 3 Award Low temperature heating and hot water systems in dwellings\n\nWhat is in it for you?\nSalary of £42,000\n\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays\n\nHealth Cash Plan\n\nReward Gateway (shopping discount)\n\nLife insurance\n\n25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays\n\niPad, Phone and all equipment provided\n\n(We encourage early applications as we may close the role once we find the right candidate.)\nAt Aira, We’re not just champions of next-generation energy, we’re champions in Diversity and Inclusion too.
