The Finance Intern will assist in ensuring that all financial records are accurate and complete for the fiscal year-end.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAccount Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank statements, ledgers, and subsidiary accounts, to ensure all financial records are accurate.\nAudit Preparation: Support the preparation of documents and schedules required for internal and external audits.\nJournal Entries: Help in preparing and entering adjusting journal entries related to year-end closing.\nData Verification: Review and verify the accuracy of financial data, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.\nFinancial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.\nAccruals and Provisions: Assist in calculating and recording accruals, provisions, and other year-end adjustments.\nCompliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.\nDocumentation: Organize and maintain financial records and documentation related to the year-end closing process.\nAd Hoc Support: Provide additional support on various year-end tasks and projects as needed by the finance team.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\nSkills:\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with accounting software.\nBasic understanding of accounting principles and year-end closing processes.\nGood organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\nExperience:\nPrevious experience or coursework in accounting, finance, or audit support is beneficial but not required.\nLearning Outcomes:\nGain practical experience in year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.\nDevelop a deeper understanding of accounting practices, reconciliations, and audit preparation.\nLearn how to manage and verify financial data in a professional setting.\nEnhance your ability to work collaboratively under deadlines in a finance team.\nWe are all different - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.
