We’re looking for talent to be part of the enterprise domain within our software engineering team.\nResponsibilities\nMentor software engineers, propose engineering solutions to solve complex problems\n\nIdentify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle\n\nDevelop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code\n\nDrive the culture and execution of test driven development in projects assigned to you and other developers within the team\n\nWork closely with QA to bring automated testing capabilities\n\nExecute strategies that allow for the team’s code to be analysed, reviewed and pushed to the pipeline efficiently\n\nDiscover and debug issues swiftly, refactor code as well as automate repetitive tasks\n\nPractice security, performance and scalability as principles in your day to decisions and contributions\n\nShare and document knowledge as part of your workflow\n\nWork with multiple teams to deliver complex and cutting-edge software solutions for a growing business\n\nEvangelize and drive stellar software engineering practices across the entire engineering team\n\nExperiment and continuously explore new and emerging technologies and bring that perspective on how it can help the team\n\nBe an awesome team member of the AirAsia Airline Tech team\n\nQualifications and Competencies:\nDegree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience\n\nProven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role\n\nExperienced in front-end development with vast knowledge in Javascript, CSS, HTML and the knowledge of frameworks such as React/Angular.\n\nExperience developing mobile first applications (Responsive UI/UX)\n\nExperience in developing backend scalable applications/APIs with the knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages : Javascript / Python / C# (.Net)\n\nHands on experience with Google Cloud Platform and able to utilise the relevant services or components to enhance reliability, scalability and performance of an application.\n\nMust be comfortable working with some popular frameworks such as NodeJs, React, Angular, Flask, .Net\n\nKnowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.\n\nSolid understanding of 3rd party data transactions and security over operations such as RESTful API or WebSockets.\n\nExperience driving and executing automation initiatives to improve the Development/QA using CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Github, Jenkins).\n\nKnowledge/experience with Application Logging, Monitoring, Performance Management such as (Firebase App Analytics, Bugsnag).\n\nExperience with performance testing and load testing tools.\n\nMust have excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills\n\nPossess great attention to detail and a sharp analytical mind\n\nWe are all different - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.
