Where goods move as freely as information moves today.\nThis is possible. Today the cost of moving on a scooter is ₹2/km. That’s the cost of moving a 150kg mass from point A to B. We’re bringing that mass down to less than 5kgs, concurrently bringing the cost down to 10 paise/km. This is how we make deliveries a reality. This is how we create a world where we’re doing billions of deliveries per day.\nThe tech is not there. The current cost of drone delivery is ₹100/km. We need to completely redefine the way things are done here. We’re building the world’s most efficient aircraft from the ground-up, and scaling that up to beyond anything the aerospace sector has ever seen. This cannot be an iterative process. We have to tear down all conventions and build everything up from scratch.\nTo do this, we need nothing less than the best engineers. The ones who care about building something fundamentally different, who are deeply curious about understanding the fundamentals of everything they’re working on, who are dreamers that believe in the impossible.\n About Flight Ops\nAirbound operates a fleet of next-generation delivery aircraft, and the Operations team ensures every flight runs seamlessly and cost-effectively. As an early-stage aerial-logistics company, we view Operations as a strategic pillar that drives growth and innovation.\nThe team wears many hats: overseeing launch-site selection and setup, flight planning, fleet utilization, and client onboarding. We also monitor weather, collate flight data, and aggregate historical patterns to power predictive analytics, while establishing the SOPs that keep our network running safely. Beyond routine workflows, we work on big-ticket problems such as cost-optimization and pricing strategy.\nOperations is the glue that holds Airbound together. We work cross-functionally with engineering teams to translate growth ambitions into a detailed operations roadmap, which directly informs product design and engineering priorities.\nWe have a strong bias for execution that is heavily informed by data. Decisions are guided by metrics-not gut instinct. We form hypotheses through critical thinking, then validate (or disprove) them with rigorous analysis of flight logs, delivery times, and cost metrics.\nWe’re process-obsessed, relentlessly data-driven, and biased toward rapid, efficient execution-always asking- How can we deliver better, faster, and cheaper?\nWhere the UAV PILOT- FLIGHT OPERATIONS comes into the picture\nAt Airbound, the UAV Pilot- Flight Operations plays a critical role in executing and scaling drone delivery missions. As part of the core flight operations team, this individual will directly operate our indigenous hybrid VTOL UAVs, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable transport of critical payloads across our logistics networks.\nAnd these are all the exciting things our UAV PILOT- FLIGHT OPERATIONS gets to work on\nOperate Airbound’s indigenous fleet of hybrid VTOL UAVs as per SOPs in day-to-day delivery missions and test flights\n\nConduct detailed pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks\n\nExecute missions in compliance with DGCA regulations, Airbound’s internal flight safety protocols, and site-specific restrictions\n\nCoordinate with ground teams, external partners, and ATC authorities where applicable\n\nMaintain accurate flight logs, incident reports, and aircraft maintenance schedules\n\nMonitor weather, assist in flight planning\n\nPerform basic field troubleshooting of UAVs and GCS (ground control stations)\n\nAssist in training and mentoring new drone pilots as the program scales\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of flight SOPs and operational workflows\n\nSupport aircraft integration and customer demos as needed\n\nQualifications:\nB.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or related engineering disciplines.\n\nFreshers with a genuine passion for aviation and the ambition to become certified UAV / Drone Pilots.\n\nCompensation Range: 3-4.5 LPA (freshers) , 4.5-5.5 LPA (experienced pilots)\nWork Location: Field deployment across client sites in India (Guntur, AP / Electronic City, Blr) | Hoskote, Bangalore (Headquarters)\nWhat We Offer\nComprehensive health insurance to keep you and your loved ones covered\n\nRelocation assistance and a daily travel stipend to ease your commute\n\nAdvanced salary credit to support you when you need it\n\n“A driven, passionate team where you’ll have room to grow and thrive - this is more than just a job, it’s a rare opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up”\nWork Schedule:\nIn-office role, working alternate Saturdays.\n\nReady to take off?\nScam Notice: Beware of impersonators collecting fees for interviews & jobs at Airbound (Opendrone Private Limited) Please do not make any payments and report any such incidents to us at .","description_format":"text","description_chars":4928,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Health insurance","Relocation assistance"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Drones & UAVs","Delivery"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-11T12:21:32Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":6,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.218,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":164,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["conf:3","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-11-03T05:54:40Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":4755,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/airbound-uav-pilot-all-india","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/airbound-uav-pilot-all-india.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-03T19:13:37Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1261,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-04T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":669509},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=669509"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fairbound-uav-pilot-all-india"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fairbound-uav-pilot-all-india"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fairbound-uav-pilot-all-india"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/airbound-uav-pilot-all-india\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fairbound-uav-pilot-all-india"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":739732}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"airbound.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":739732},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
