The successful candidate will join TDDT Data Integration team which is part of AD&S Data Management & AI. As a Data Engineer you will take responsibility for the data integration pipelines design, implementation and deployment, between multiple data sources including Business Systems, Engineering Systems, Machines, Drones, etc. using our transversal and transnational Integration Platforms/Products. The successful candidate will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of experts working in classical and agile project management methodologies. Depending on the projects the applicant will have an end-to-end accountability for the solution implementation and provide the necessary inputs to his/her colleagues to guarantee the best in class service after deployment phase. You will make the data fly inside Airbus Defence & Space and also from and to outside partners, customers or governments!\nMain tasks:\nResponsible of the integration activities, including design, implementation and deployment, inside data integration products to accomplish requests from the Digital projects\n\nResponsible to define the integration tasks associated to new development related to new Use Cases or needs raised by associated Product Owner\n\nResponsible of UATs and Deployment activities associated to new data integrations in close alignment with Operation Manager of associated data integration product\n\nSupport Data Integration Platform performance analysis in order to guarantee the existing SLA\n\nSupport on migration of the existing data pipelines into the new microservices architecture API-based\n\nSupport to AI Adoption acceleration initiatives in order to leverage the new interoperability layer that will support Agentic AI approach at company level\n\nSupport Data modelling activities in line with the Data Foundations and Semantic layer defined by Data owners\n\nOutputs:\nInformation Flows up to date with the new data flows developed and deployed\n\nData Integration Platform SLR up to date\n\nConfiguration Mgt documentation\n\nUATs deliverables in alignment with Project Manager\n\nDeployment plan and associated acceptance criteria per data flows\n\nData Integration technologies metrics\n\nTechnical advice on architecture and integrations related to project tasks in his/her perimeter or responsibility\n\nPhysical data models in corresponding Data Integration platforms for associated data UCs\n\nData Quality checks of the implemented pipelines and automated alerts mechanisms\n\nSkills & Competencies:\nUniversity degree in IT related field\n\nEnglish and Spanish negotiation level is required\n\nStrong collaboration and communication skills\n\nExisting Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one would be mandatory\n\nOver 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Engineer with key focus on Data Integration aspects, including Data Quality checks\n\nOver 5 years of hands-on experience in building/developing data pipelines with Enterprise Data Integration Platforms (middlewares, ETL, ELT, API platforms …)\n\nsolutions/integrations for large scale data pipelines (on-premises)\n\nExperience in handling data from a variety of sources like csv, json, xml, relational databases and so on\n\nDeep experience in programming languages related to data integration (Python, Flask, Node, JavaScript, Express …)\n\nExperience in developing technical and support documentation, translate business requirements and needs into reporting and models\n\nProficiency in querying and managing both relational and NoSQL databases\n\nAPI based services technologies experience is mandatory\n\nUnderstanding of microservices and EDA approaches, preferably OnPrem, would be mandatory\n\nKnowledge on DevOps methods and tools (at least 2-3 years of experience required)\n\nIT project management knowledge\n\nBasic experience in IT Service Management principles\n\nBasic knowledge about Data Analytics and AI principles/techniques\n\nThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.\nCompany:\nAirbus Defence and Space SAUEmployment Type:\nPermanent-------\nExperience Level:\nProfessionalJob Family:\nDigital By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
