Accountability:
This position aims to provide the sufficient engineering service for preparing, scheduling and following up various maintenance, storage, engine and/or dismantling work. He/she prepares the work, ensures the follow-up and provides mechanics and technicians with technical support. He/she is required to determine solutions especially in the structure domain in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
Operational activities:
Prepare and set up the items of the maintenance, storage, engine and/or dismantling work site (Work Package, scheduling) in accordance with:
the protocol provided by the customer
customised manufacturer documentation (AMM, IPC, etc.).
Establish work orders in accordance with the latest updates of the manufacturer's documentation.
Provide approved data for all work to be performed, maintenance, modifications or repairs, in accordance with the organisation's procedures and CAAC/EASA/NAA rules and requirements
State work requirements in accordance with the technical documentation and the work protocol/programme (WP) provided by the customer.
Produce all documents required to ensure the completion of all contracted work and to meet allocated deadlines.
Assist in the follow-up and management of schedules (start of workshop, end of TA, TC workshop).
Ensure that all work carried out on aircraft has a work order (WO) saved in the existing system.
Ensure that the aircraft's technical documentation is available to work staff, in coordination with the Project Manager.
Distribute the required documentation sufficiently in advance to allow the organisations involved (Production/Procurement/GSE & Tooling) to deliver their associated product (Qualified staff/Equipment/GSE/ Tooling) on time
Manage the follow-up and tracing of removed parts including equipment in coordination with the ordering officers.
View, during site inspections, the technical problems encountered on the aircraft.
Propose technical support to teams operating on site.
Provide operating experience.
Participate in the continuous improvement of assistance documents and tools and procedures in coordination with the Quality Department and the technical teams
Assist the Project Manager on request
Ensure the technical follow-up of maintenance, storage and dismantling work
Be the technical focal point for managing the Work Package in conjunction with the Project Manager
Prepare and manage additional work related to: Non Routine Card, Customer Work Order initiated by the Project Manager, Deferred work initiated by the Project Manager, etc.
Follow up and update work documents
Issue the CAAC/EASA F1.
Manage all technical records involved to ensure that an appropriate CRS can be produced
Prepare the items of the release file with the assistance of "C" staff of the work site by approving the "Work Package"
Produce RTS supporting documentation in accordance with the customer contract and CAA/EASA/NAA rules and requirements.
Check the Work Orders
Update the work orders in accordance with the aircraft schedule
Ensure the follow-up of the airworthiness directives (AD) applicable to the related aircraft and equipment.
Participate in customer reporting as required, in support of the Project Manager
Carry out all the checks and tests required to ensure the technical compliance and traceability of the services provided.
Check and/or draft analysis reports
Communicate with manufacturers in technical English
Read drawings
Ensure the summary of maintenance, storage, engine and/or dismantling work in order to capitalise on the experience acquired
Issue the end of work file (CRS, RCT)
Ensure that the Work Pack is closed with release documents and finalise the aircraft file
Assess the project's positive or negative aspects
Update the tech log book in order to "release" the aircraft:
Answer the tech log points
Manage deferred work
Release customer orders. Update the database and ensure that it is kept up to date in our ERP (work order, supplies, tools, etc.) in accordance with the manufacturer's technical documentation.
Library and Publication Management: Ensure that aircraft documents are kept current and available for all ALS operational activities and staff. Manage and dispatch documentation to all concerned ALS organisation and people.
Technical Records management: Manage all the Technical Records during and after maintenance check embodiment.
Other tasks that assigned by manager.
Qualifications
Education:
BTS or 2 years' higher education in Aeronautics, or equivalent3 years' higher education in Aeronautical Maintenance, Aeronautical Design and Production, or equivalent
Aeronautical, Mechanical or General Engineer's degree (5 years' higher education), or equivalent
Aeronautical diploma course
Experience:
At least 8 years experience in the aviation maintenance industry.
At least 5 years experience in engineering related positions.
Having the experience of production planning.
Having the experience in a new capability set up.
Having experience in the AMOS system is preferred.
