Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cost Base Manager (f/m) to join our Flight Hour Services (FHS) team within the Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact business performance and customer satisfaction within Flight Hour Services (FHS). Your challenges:

Your main accountabilities will be:

-Own the FHS cost base for assigned aircraft programs, proactively identifying and executing improvements to the reference models.

-Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to optimize agreements and validate business content, while driving internal cost-improvement initiatives across the FHS organization.

-Measure and report savings realized through optimization actions, ensuring transparency and alignment with profitability goals.

As a Cost Base Manager, you will participate in the definition, feeding and improvement of the processes, templates, tools and databases required for the activities. You will accountable for the data accuracy and freshness of the databases.

You will maintain and regularly update cost bases (repair cost bases) master reference models for programs based on:

- Reliability data from diverse sources- Fleet configuration

- Optimization actions launched by FHS departments

- In-service feedbacks from FHS teams

• You will improve and optimize those cost bases models with signed procurement contracts, actual price data (repair and asset prices), in service performance data (MTBUR) and engineering actions.
• You will be responsible to secure the FHS cost base and to prioritize the needs towards the procurement teams based on on-going campaigns and signed contracts.
• On request, you can support procurement in supplier negotiations and challenge internal organizations on cost optimization actions.
• You will actively contribute to action plans for achieving cost-base targets and regularly reports on performance improvements. You will be responsible for recording identified savings and cost avoidance, and interface with FHS program managers to define top program priorities.
• You will identify top cost drivers of its program and liaises with the FHS organization to put in place a recovery plan. You should promote economical consciousness within the FHS organization.
• You will support the development of new products or services by collection and developing relevant cost bases. You ensure these new products or services should align with market prices.
• You will support of the PM the scope of Items that can be proposed in the frame of a sale campaign.

Your boarding pass:

• 3 years in aviation industry with knowledge of airline economics
• General A/C technical & maintenance knowledge
• Actively takes ownership, initiative and responsibility
• Team worker
• Knowledge of Skywise tool would be a plus
• Excel knowledge
• Good written and spoken English level

• Good relationship skills
