In a day-to-day basis, she/he will report to Project Manager.\nWithin each project, the tasks are coordinated by a Technical Responsible in charge of direct reporting to the Project Manager.\nThe Engineer’s tasks comprise the complete development of an electronic equipment: from the analysis of the requirements to the final delivery of the flight model once accepted. The successful applicant will be in charge of the following tasks:\nSupport to the Technical and Test Managers for the analysis of project requirements.\nArchitecture analysis at electronic function or module level.\nDetailed electronics design based on electrical simulations at function level.\nAssure of the robustness of the design by means of: part stress analysis, worst case analysis, failure modes and criticality analysis, power budget analysis and Double Insulation requirements compliance.\nIn case of fligth design, to support to Radiation Team to assure the design robustness within the radiation space environment including Single Events Effects (SEE).\nDocumentation of the design.\nLaboratory and prototype testing.\nAssure the mechanical and thermal design robustness by supporting the Packaging Team.\nSupport to PCB CAD team during the design of the PCB by the reviewing of the PCB layout.\nBoard test procedures definition.\nSupport to the Technical Manager in the main project reviews (Requirement Review, Preliminary and Architecture Review, Critical Design Review…)\nCharacterizationof the design. \nSupport to Test Team for the acceptance of flight equipment, ensuring a close monitoring of any change, evolution or discrepancy from the agreed baseline in the characterization phase.\nSupport to the Technical Manager in the resolution of boards NCRs (Non-conformance) raised during qualification or acceptance test campaign.\nBackground and skills set required\nWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:\nEducated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or science discipline.\nProven experience in the development of any of the following functions: Power, Analog or Digital electronics.\nProven experience using advanced laboratory instrumentation.\nGood knowledge of design methodologies for space application and tools (Mentor, LTSPice, Matlab, SIMetrix-SIMPLIS).\nSound mathematical basis for its application to the electronic design analysis.\nEnglish and Spanish must be at least mid-level, both written and spoken.\nGood communication and reporting skills.\nStrong team working and cooperation spirit. \nIndependent and accurate way of working.\nOther recommended skills are:\nDigital mindset (automation of tasks, scripting, use of digital design tools and simulators).\nKnowledge of space environment constraints. \nTo be familiar with Agile methodologies.\nFor Candidates with skills on Power & Analog electronics: experience on designs using digital control techniques.\nFor Candidates with skills on Digital electronics: experience on designs based on hardware-software interfaces. \nFast prototyping techniques.\nHappy to learn and teach others.\nFeel like you can't tick some boxes above?
