Job Description:
An opportunity for a Procurement & Contract Manager has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Purchasing Team, playing a key role in managing supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy across product lifecycles to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tendering processes, and negotiate contract terms to achieve optimal purchasing conditions aligned with internal and external company requirements.
Monitor contract compliance and supplier performance across all phases (innovation, development, serial, and support) across key dimensions such as logistics, quality, cost, and support.
Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and oversee active projects to maximize customer value while mitigating operational risks.
Participate actively as a core member of Multifunctional and Multidivisional teams throughout the tendering, contracting, and lifecycle management stages.

Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Proven track record in procurement, contract management, or strategic sourcing.
Soft skills: Strong negotiation capability, high adaptability to work in a networking mode, and strong business acumen.
Languages: Advanced level in English.
Technical knowledge: In-depth understanding of contract law, supplier management methodologies, and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) principles.
Valuable / Nice to have: Experience in aerospace or complex industrial procurement environments will be highly valued.
