Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Innovation Project Manager (d/f/m) to join our ET Engineering team based in Marignane - France.

Your future missions :

Within the Research & Innovation department you will participate in the development of some key technologies for Airbus Helicopters flying demonstrators.

You will be a general studies project leader, carrying out the responsibilities of the aerodynamic, handling qualities, loads, vibrations and dynamics studies of some flying R&T demonstrators.

This position requires strong technical skills, and will combine great agility with strong versatility.

A large part of the activity will be related to the realization of a POC in sprint mode

Your main missions will be :

  • Manage a small integrated team (3 to 5 people) dedicated to rotorcraft general studies

  • Lead the different activities of aerodynamic, handling qualities and loads computation for the R&T helicopter demonstrator

  • Organize and analyse the different ground tests related to the general studies: mainly Wind tunnel tests campaign, vibrations and dynamic tests

  • Lead the University and test center partnership in link with the general studies topics

  • Ensure the relation and the technical convergence with the different metiers for the general studies

  • Lead and follow the Ground and Flight tests campaigns of any R&T demonstrators, and analyse the flight data in link with Flight test department

  • Manage the airworthiness activities relating to the general studies in the framework of R&T flying demonstrators

Project & Methodology Scope :

  • Manage development stages from low-level TRL demonstrators to TRL6 compliant safety and quality standards.

  • Adapt development methodologies to project objectives, ensuring the right processes are applied at the right time.

Your profile :

  • Minimum 5 years as a designer of complex products in aeronautics.

  • Minimum 5 years in the development of aerospace products.

  • Demonstrated experience as a group leader, having supervised design office engineers.

Required Skills :

  • Expertise in Catia V5

  • VPM-type PLM tools.

  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Bachelor+5) specialized in aeronautical domains

  • Mastering key aeronautical technical rules.

  • Advanced awareness of safety, compliance, and airworthiness constraints in aeronautical products.

  • English Professional level
