With around 10,000 employees, we\ncombine technology and innovation leadership to pioneering efficient and sustainable aircraft production and to make zero-emission flight a reality.\nYou will join our international and dedicated team to provide Digital Workplace (DW) solutions to around 19.000 customers.\nYour tasks and responsibilities\nYou will lead the strategic transition towards Non-Windows Operating Systems (ChromeOS) to reduce legacy dependencies and modernize the Airbus Aerostructures (ASA) workplace environment.\n\nYou will drive the consolidation and simplification of the Digital Workplace application portfolio, mitigating the risks associated with the MS Office decommissioning and the transition to Google Workspace.\n\nYou will manage the comprehensive Obsolescence Management lifecycle for legacy hardware and software systems, ensuring operational stability during the transition phase.\n\nYou will support the Lead Architect in evaluating and implementing complex IT demands from internal customers, translating them into scalable, secure, and compliant architecture designs.\n\nYou will collaborate closely with Airbus Commercial IT Infrastructure to ensure seamless group integration while safeguarding ASA's local operational sovereignty and control.\n\nYou will actively identify and mitigate risks of \"shadow IT\" by designing user-centric, unified digital workplace solutions.\n\nYou will align the workplace architecture strategy with the organization's business objectives and the overarching strategy.\n\nDesired skills and qualifications\nYou hold a degree in (business) informatics, computer science, or bring a comparable qualification and have proven experience as an IT/Workplace Architect or in a similar strategic role.\n\nYou bring strong knowledge and hands-on experience with modern OS ecosystems (specifically ChromeOS and Linux deployments) and cloud-based productivity suites (Google Workspace).\n\nYou have a proven track record in IT simplification, application portfolio consolidation, and obsolescence management within complex, large-scale corporate environments.\n\nYou bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively mediate between technical teams, internal business units, and global Airbus IT functions.\n\nYou possess a strong understanding of the intersection between Digital Workplace and Identity Access Management (IAM) to ensure secure access and lifecycle management.\n\nYou are fluent in Romanian and English.
