You will mentor your peers, drive continuous innovation, and shape our technical strategy.\nQualification & Experience:\nEducational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.\nOverall Experience: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science or software application development\nSkywise Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience on Palantir Foundry\nExperience in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders transnationally\nPast experience in Aviation/manufacturing domain is preferred\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong proficiency in Pyspark, Python, SQL, Javascript, Typescript\nStrong hands-on working experience on Palantir Foundry tools like Code repository, Pipeline builder, Access management, Ontology, Object explorer, Workshop, Templates, Marketplace, Quiver, Slate etc\nPrior working experience on Aircraft sensor data and time series data processing in Skywise preferred\nAbility to implement optimizations at scale on Pyspark or Java-based decoding pipelines in Foundry Code Repositories to translate raw, compressed, or binary formats into clean, structured datasets\nKnowledge and experience of AIP tools on Foundry\nStrong ability in leveraging AI tools in development and operational workflows\nStrong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems\nStrong understanding of data governance and security aspects\nKnowledge on some of the following products/tools: Git, Confluence, Agility, Jira etc\nExcellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team\nPrior working knowledge on AWS is an advantage\nWilling to work in CET timezone based on project need\nStrong willingness to continuously learn and explore\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Leadership\nCollaborate closely with the Product Owner/Project Leader/Product manager in gathering requirements, managing expectations, and presenting technical deliveries to the business stakeholders\nPartner with the Product Owner/Project Leader to prioritize, groom, and maintain the sprint backlog within an Agile/Scrum framework\nTake ownership of the end-to-end application development by understanding business needs and translating them into clear technical requirements for the development team\nResponsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, supporting and operating Skywise (Palantir Foundry) based applications that involve data engineering, data analysis and visualization\nDesign comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and end-to-end test cases covering complex data workflows and UI interactions\nResponsible for Continuous Release Management and Continuous Improvement Programs\nDrumbeat and accelerate the adoption of AI technologies in the team\nLog, track and prioritize system defects using Agility or ServiceNow, collaborate closely with developers for rapid resolution\nPerform deep-technology root cause analysis to resolve complex data pipeline and application issues\nUnderstand complex business processes and the technical architecture of the Airbus application portfolio\nAssess the existing landscape of the applications with respect to technical & functional aspects and align them to the best practices for integration & security\nDefine and enforce technical best practices, Golden Rules, and conduct thorough source code auditing\nDrive awareness of relevant Quality and Project management practices and ensure compliance\nIdentify and realize new business opportunities by working closely with the relevant stakeholders\nTeam Mentorship & Stakeholder Management\nMentor and guide development team members to build robust, easy-to-navigate code bases\nSupport the team members in developing competencies needed to deliver the solutions\nImplement knowledge management for the applications managed in the team\nAct as a technical bridge between business requirements and project execution and ensure quality products are delivered\nBuild and maintain healthy relationship with all the business stakeholders\nExceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical constraints into clear business impacts\nKey Success Metrics:\nOwnership: Take ownership of the project(s) and drive stakeholder engagement and alignment during the entire lifecycle of the project\nOn-Time Delivery & Quality: Consistently ensure first-time-right quality and on-time delivery across all project milestones\nInnovation: Deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for data pipeline optimization and performance tuning\nCustomer Satisfaction: Maintain customer first mindset through clear communication and proactive engagement\nAgile Mindset: Demonstrate continuous collaboration and an adaptable, Agile approach within distributed teams\nThis job requires the constant awareness of the compliance risks we face in day-to-day responsibilities.
