We’re looking above all for passionate people, eager to learn, willing to share, establishing innovative ways of working and influencing stakeholders.\n\nQualification: Bachelor/ Master Degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.\nExperience: 5-10 years of experience in mechanical system installation and configuration management.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities: As an MSI Engineer, Jobholderwill be Engineering Technical responsible for activities related to Mechanical System Installation that includes\nPerforming Design concepts, improvising design and Ensuring proper equipment installation and integration to the Aircraft system (Preferably Air Conditioning, Waste Management, Hydraulic Systems, Pipes and Ducts etc.)\n\nProvide Engineering assistance in solving design issues from Manufacturing and supplier concerns\n\nPropose and implement the improvements in terms of System Installation with impact on weight, lead-time and cost of the aircraft.\n\nEnsure the consistency between the Configured DMU and the design intent for the Airbus design teams.\n\nApplication of the new technologies while building new aircraft designs.\n\nNetwork & liaise with a broad range of Airframe Systems including Industrialization, Standardization, Research & Environment Integration.\n\nPropose and implement digitization ideas through new ways of working.\n\nReporting of all activities as per Airbus procedures.\n\nWilling to travel internationally and work in a multi-cultural environment on a need basis.\n\nInteract with multiple stakeholders, ensure adherence to planned timelines, Schedule Risk management\n\nReview Engineering documentation including Design.\n\nResponsible for delivering Quality, Team and project goals/objectives\n\nWilling to travel internationally and work in a multi-cultural environment on a need basis.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong experience with Catia V5 for the creation & validation of 3D models, Engineering Drawing(2D, F3D) for System installation & Integration , exposure to 3DXperience would be an added advantage.(Tools: Catia V5,VPM, DPDS, PASS SSI, Solings and other CADCAM tools).\n\nDMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.\n\nKnowledge on Aircraft build process and basic understanding of Aircraft systems.\n\nBasic understanding of Defence and Space Systems and Defence requirements.\n\nExperience in handling PDM/VPM tools and link to CAD models with design in context Environment.\n\nGood Design knowledge on integration of Air Conditioning (ATA21), Waste Management (ATA38) , Fuel Systems(ATA 28) and Hydraulic systems(ATA 29).\n\nGood understanding about Pipe design, Fuel and Hydraulic Installation design principles.\n\nExposure required towards Interface studies, material selection, Sealing and fire protection details.\n\nShould have good understanding about routing fuel/Hydraulic lines, designing mounting brackets and ensuring system functionality.\n\nExposure to Product Development life cycle including Design, Development, Qualification, Testing and release, Exposure to Configuration and Change Management\n\nExposure to Design review process\n\nGood Project Management skills to drive the performance KPIs & improvements proactively.\n\nGood understanding of Aircraft Function, Operation & Processes.\n\nAwareness of Airbus processes & methods would be an added advantage.\n\nSoft skills:\nVery good communication and presentation skills.\n\nAbility to demonstrate effectiveness in holding conversations with customers and customer-centric outreach.\n\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.\n\nDemonstrate agility and autonomy in a transnational environment.\n\nDemonstrate ability to work as a team in a highly collaborative environment.\n\nAbility to coordinate the efforts of a large team of diverse specialists & experts.\n\nAbility to lead in an environment of constant change involving multiple internal processes.\n\nAbility to build and maintain long term relationships with stakeholders\n\nProject management and Risk Management will be an added advantage.\n\nAdaptability, Agility and flexibility\n\nThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.\nCompany:\nAirbus India Private LimitedEmployment Type:\nPermanent-------\nExperience Level:\nEntry LevelJob Family:\nSystem Installation By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
