The RMT process is fully integrated with design, development and verification processes. One of the main functions and roles of RMT is to participate in development activities to ensure “Design to Services”.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nEstablish and agree with the Design Office and Suppliers the RMT Requirements and ensure that they are implemented in the design.\nPerform Maintainability, Reliability, Operational & Mission Reliability, Availability and Maintenance Economics Analysis and produce engineering design documentation (FMECA, Failure Catalogue, BIT concept document, MTA, QMA, FRACAS…)\nPerform Maintainability Demonstration (On-Aircraft and with Digital Mock-Up).\nAttend Design Reviews with Design Office and Customers\nRepresentation of RMT discipline within multi-disciplinary design teams.\nLink to Design Offices (concurrent engineering) and Suppliers regarding RAMT issues (requirements, deliverables)\nSupport to other areas in Customer Services (ILS, Technical Publications, Materiel Services)\nResponsible for RMT data in Logistics Data Bases\nSupport to the offers preparation.\nConduct technical investigations to establish the root cause of in-service problems and recommend cost-effective corrective action(s) to be implemented\nPrepare and developed RMT procedures, guidelines and technical reports for the customer.\nAnswer Customer queries dealing with RMT issues\nCandidates must meet all legal and professional requirements for the role.\nSKILLS\nEducational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Industrial, or relevant engineering field.\n Core Engineering Background: Solid track record in Reliability & Maintainability (R&M / RMT / RAMS) within aerospace/defence, or solid experience in aircraft design and development engineering.\nAnalysis & Methodologies: Hands-on experience with FMECA/FMEA, MTA, FRACAS, BIT concepts, failure catalogues, and availability/maintenance economics.\n Tools & Environment: Familiarity with Digital Mock-Up (DMU) for maintainability demonstrations and working knowledge of logistics/ILS databases.\nTechnical Mindset: Strong passion for deep technical analysis, root-cause investigations, and data-driven problem solving.\nStakeholder Management & Teamwork: Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and act as a key liaison between Design Offices, Customer Services, suppliers, and customers.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities to defend technical requirements in Design Reviews and draft clear engineering reports.\n Languages: Advanced proficiency (C1 or equivalent) in both English and Spanish, essential for technical documentation, customer-facing interactions, and on-site coordination.\nWHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?\nAt Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
