The department is in charge of sizing, verifying, and ensuring the structural integrity and damage tolerance of aerospace components.\nMAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n- Structural Analysis during Design conceptual design, definition, development\nand modifications phases.\n- Trade off analysis for different design solutions\n- Structural arrangements definition and evaluation\n- Sizing of the structural components, parts and assemblies\n- Support of the Mechanical System installation Design office\n- Analysis of the certification requirements according to the rules and standards\n- Definition of structural genera/detailed arrangements\n- Selection of manufacturing technologies, materials and standards during the sizing\n- Support of the design office-Definition and establishment of the\ncertification/qualification means of compliance\n- Structural test definition, test support and assessment of results\n- Participation in the development of the technological areas of engineering and manufacturing.\n- Program management where different disciplines are involved.\nINFLUENCE AREAS\n- Engineering and Technologies: Structural and System installations design,\nM&P, Weight and Balance, Flight Physics, Standardization, R&D dpt.\nSKILLS REQUIRED\n- University Aeronautical Engineering Degree or equivalent\n- At least 5-10 years experience in Structural Analysis of airframe components\n- Experience in stress tools (FEM and SW packages)\n- Good knowledge of standard stress methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark &\nYoung)\n- Knowledge of design principles and manufacturing processes\n- Knowledge of AW requirements, preferred on military standards\n- Knowledge in qualification and certification of aircraft structures as well as\nglobal understanding of Aircraft Development processes to support transversal activities in early project phases\n- Metallic and composite materials knowledge\n- Structural test techniques\n- Good interpersonal and communication skills\n- Fluent English language.\n- Experience in program management\nWHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?
