This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, program execution, and customer delivery, ensuring successful integration of high-value capital equipment, including robotics, precision tooling, motion systems, and automated assembly technologies, into aircraft production environments.\nThe STPM owns scope, schedule, cost, risk, and technical integration, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams while serving as the primary interface to Airbus internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customer production sites.\nHow we care for you:\n Financial Rewards: candidate profile\nYour challenges:\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nProgram Leadership & Execution\nLead end-to-end delivery of robotics and automated tooling programs from requirements definition through CISS, CIPS, and production deployment.\nBuild and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), resource plans, and program budgets.\nDrive cross-functional execution across mechanical design, controls, software, systems, manufacturing, and supply chain.\nFacilitate structured engineering milestones including PDR, CDR, FDR risk reviews, and readiness gates.\nEnsure compliance with Airbus quality, safety, documentation, and configuration management standards.\nTechnical Integration\nTranslate customer and production requirements into clear, actionable technical scopes.\nCoordinate system architecture decisions across robotics, motion control, vision, tooling, and factory integration.\nTrack technical risks, mitigation strategies, and validation plans.\nPartner with systems engineering and controls/software leads to manage interface definitions and performance validation.\nSupport V&V planning including simulation, offline programming, CISS, CIPS, and production ramp-up.\nStakeholder & Customer Management\nServe as the primary program interface to Airbus internal customers, external partners, and suppliers.\nLead program reviews, status reporting, and executive-level updates.\nManage scope changes, contract deliverables, and commercial impacts in coordination with program leadership.\nSupport onsite installation, commissioning, and production readiness activities.\nFinancial & Operational Management\nTrack program financials including budget, earned value, and forecast accuracy.\nManage procurement, supplier deliverables, and long-lead items aligned to schedule.\nDrive issue resolution across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.\nImplement continuous improvement across program execution, documentation, and lessons learned.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nDrive continuous improvement in project execution, tooling performance, and delivery processes.\nSupport proposal development, cost estimation, and technical scoping for new programs.\nYour boarding pass:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MS preferred).\nExperience:\n10+ years managing complex technical programs in robotics, automation, aerospace tooling, or capital equipment.\nDemonstrated experience delivering integrated hardware/software systems into production environments.\nStrong understanding of industrial robotics, controls systems, and automated manufacturing.\nProficiency with SolidWorks or CATIA for design review and technical discussions.\nExperience with program management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).\nFamiliarity with configuration control, change management, and structured engineering review processes.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across engineering, operations, and executive leadership .\nPreferred\nExperience with aerospace OEM production systems and requirements.\nBackground in robotic drilling, fastening, inspection, or assembly automation.\nPMP certification or equivalent program management training.\nExperience with international programs and supplier coordination.\nFamiliarity with industrial automation safety standards (ISO, ANSI/RIA, CE).\nPrior experience with aerospace automation integrators.\nTravel Required:\n30% Domestic and
