You will be part of the full software development lifecycle -from requirements engineering and architectural design to implementation, testing, and system integration within complex simulation environments.\nThe accountabilities of this position will be applied on:\nDeveloping the simulation SW to be included in the Embedded Training Solution of the SAETA 2 aircraft trainer.\nSupporting the development and operation of the SAETA 2 Simulators\nSupporting the design, development and deployment of the devices that compose the Ground Based Training System where all the future Spanish Combat Pilots will train. This activity includes Virtual Reality Training Devices.\nCollaborate on feasibility studies investigating new features to optimize pilot training.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nRequirements Engineering: Elicit, analyze, and document high-level and low-level software requirements, ensuring traceability and compliance with rigorous industry standards\n\nSoftware Design: be part of the architectural and detailed design of complex software components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance optimized for real-time or near-real-time systems.\n\nHigh-Performance Development: Implement robust, efficient, and maintainable code using modern C++ standards.\n\nVerification & Validation (V&V): Define comprehensive test strategies, including unit, integration, and system-level testing. Develop automated test suites to ensure software integrity.\n\nSystem Integration: Perform hands-on integration of software components into large-scale simulators or avionics hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.\n\nProcess Compliance: Adhere to and enforce strict software engineering processes and lifecycle models, ensuring all documentation and artifacts meet mission-critical quality standards.\n\nMentorship & Review: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews and design reviews to maintain high coding standards and technical excellence within the team.\n\nSKILLS\n- Education: Computer, Aeronautical or Telecommunications Engineering degree or a related discipline\n- Experience: At least 6-7 years in Software Engineering.
