Its mission is also to be the Airbus refer-\nence and the primary expertise source as far as equipment development and concerned issues.\nThe development teams are structured by technical domains, and this position is included in the Quality\nFunction interacting with the Avionics Software & System Testing department at Airbus.\nMain responsibilities:\nThe jobholder is responsible for:\n Performing the quality assurance and the quality controls (technical sampling of the avionics\nsoftware deliverables) in compliance with the DO-178B/ED-12 objectives.\n Providing technical support for process, methods and tools of Avionics Software teams.\n EASA certification of Avionics Software.\n Continuous improvements on processes\nMain activities:\nThe Software Methods and Quality Engineer main activities include:\n Ensuring the efficiency and adequacy of the development methods in particular to comply with certi-\nfication objectives\n Providing support to the development teams for methods and tools use\n Proposing improvements\n Verifying the consistency, the completeness and accuracy of the quality documents of the software\n Maintaining and updating the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC)\n Ensuring conformity of the Software Quality Assurance Plan (SQAP) specially the list of applicable\nrules for software projects\n Performing the internal reviews to prepare the external reviews done by EASA\n Verifying the correctness of methods and rules application by performing quality control of docu-\nments, source code files, test files or all other relevant life cycle data produced by the development\nteam, either by samples or exhaustively in compliance with the SQAP\n Approving the software documents in compliance with the applicable plans and certification rules\n Performing root cause analysis for software anomalies in order to improve development methods\n Ensuring consistency, completeness and accuracy of the certification records\n Approve the project documents in compliance with the applicable plans\n Verify the configuration management of the product life cycle data\nThe Software Methods and Quality Engineer will work in close relationship with the Quality Manager,\nSoftware Manager and Development team, Certification Authorities, Methods Specialists, Software Method\nand Quality Managers of Airbus, France.\nExperiences\nEmbedded Software Development: Software specification, architecture Design, Coding, Test, and Inte-\ngration\nAIRBUS GROUP INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED\nPAGE 2\nManagement: software development following-up\nMain qualities:\n Experience in development and verification of critical real time embedded software\n Autonomy, good relationship, and team spirit\n Willingness to become a Method Quality person\n Experience in the application of DO-178 on a project\nThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.\nCompany:\nAirbus India Private LimitedEmployment Type:\nPermanent-------\nExperience Level:\nProfessionalJob Family:\nSub-system development By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
