The successful applicants will join the Electrical Systems Spain Department (TSEOE7).\nThe Electrical Engineer will contribute to developing electrical and electronic systems and sub-systems for satellite platforms and payloads, and for applications including Telecommunications (including Active Antennas), Earth Observation, Science and Navigation. He/she will work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team and will contribute to the on-cost, on-time and on-quality product delivery to customer.\n RESPONSIBILITIES\nYour main tasks and responsibilities will include:\nUnder the coordination of the System Electrical Architect, manage all technical aspects related to (at least) one of the following areas: o Active antennas data handling sub-systems (DHS) and equipment\no On-board data handling sub-systems (DHS) and equipment\nElaborate and maintain technical requirement specifications for on-board sub-systems, equipment or boards (mainly on digital equipment).\nWhen needed, review supplier's HardWare designs (mainly digital electronics) as well as FPGA designs and documentation.\nSupport SW engineering in the definition of the data busses protocols applicable to units (contribute wrt. HW resources and performance) as well as in the definition of the processor load and memory occupation budgets (contribute wrt. HW resources and performance)\nWhen needed, design of specific electrical circuits (mainly digital) including their respective schematics and analysis (e.g. WCA, PSA) and review PCB design. • Define system verification and validation strategy, prepare system/equipment/board test specifications and maintain the verification control documentation. • Manage the detailed electrical aspects, such as electrical interfaces, TM/TC interfaces, data links and protocols, harness, power budget, EMC aspects, etc. • Support the Procurement Team in performing the technical follow-up of the subcontracted equipment/board development, and in the assessment of technical risks and RFD/RFW. • Support the AIT Team in the definition and technical follow-up of the required test systems, in the preparation of system integration and test activities, and in the review of test reports. • Support the Quality Team in the investigation of anomalies and non-conformances, providing technical support in NRBs. • Elaborate technical documentation, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to technical proposals. • Support the project technical reviews, and conduct and lead the technical reviews to equipment/board suppliers. • Work in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines (e.g. thermal, mechanical, harness) involved in the system development throughout the whole lifecycle\n\nSKILLS\nWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:\nWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:\nEducated to degree level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.\nProven experience (>= 5 years) required in: o Space projects\no Space digital electronics detailed design and test.\no Requirements management\no Subcontractor technical management\nEnglish advanced level.\nSpanish advanced level.\nESA standards experience (ECSSs...)\nWill be appreciated:\no Experience in space microprocessor/SoCs computers HW design.\no Experience in space FPGA design (specification, arquitecture, VHDL coding, simulation, P&R...).\no Experience in requirements management with DOORS.\no Experience in electrical analysis with LT/PSPICE and/or MATLAB.\no Experience in electrical design with ALTIUM\no Experience programming with PYTHON\no Power electronics design and EMC engineering\n\nWHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?
