You will serve as a core technical SME ensuring high system availability, rapid incident resolution, and proactive health tracking across hybrid SAP landscapes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConfigure and maintain key FRUN application areas, including System Monitoring (SysMon), Integration & User Monitoring (IUM), Real-Time Integration Monitoring, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).\n\nOnboard new SAP systems, databases, and hosts into SAP Focused Run.\n\nInstall, configure, and maintain Simple Diagnostics Agents (SDA) across managed systems.\n\nSet up custom thresholds, notification templates, and automated metric management in FRUN.\n\nManage Technical Monitoring templates, metric settings, and alert rules in SolMan 7.2.\n\nPerform regular housekeeping, patching, and maintenance of the Solution Manager/FRUN landscapes.\n\nAnalyze performance metrics (CPU, Memory, DB growth, long-running jobs, lock entries, expensive SQL statements) and create proactive health checks.\n\nDevelop custom dashboards and reports in FRUN / SolMan to provide key stakeholders with system visibility.\n\nCollaborate with SAP Basis, Database, and Infrastructure teams to fine-tune monitoring settings and eliminate alert fatigue / false positives.\n\nQualifications & Skills:\nExperience: 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis / Solution Manager / Focused Run administration.\n\nSAP Focused Run (FRUN): Solid practical exposure to FRUN architecture, Simple Diagnostics Agents (SDA), System Monitoring, and Integration Monitoring.\n\nSAP Solution Manager 7.2: Expertise in Technical Monitoring (SolMan Setup), Alert Inbox configuration, Notification Management, and Solution Documentation/Landscape setup (LMDB / SLD).\n\nSAP Basis Fundamentals: Good understanding of SAP architecture (NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Suite on HANA), DB management (SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle), OS (Linux/Unix, Windows), and basic transport management.\n\nIncident & Ticket Flow: Hands-on experience with incident management workflows, alert routing, and ITIL process fundamentals.\n\nAnalytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, preventative mindset rather than just reactive firefighting.\n\nCommunication: Ability to clearly explain technical issues and metrics to both technical teams and business stakeholders.\n\nOwnership: High degree of accountability to manage critical alerts and ensure SLA adherence.\n\nExperience of working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.\n\nGood to have skills:\nCertification in SAP Solution Manager or SAP Focused Run.\n\nExperience with SAP Cloud ALM\n\nExposure to cloud/hybrid SAP deployments (SAP BTP, RISE with SAP, Azure, AWS, GCP).\n\nAutomation or scripting skills (Shell scripting, Python) for routine task execution.\n\nSuccess Metrics\nSuccess will be measured in a variety of areas, including\nConsistently ensure the on-time delivery and quality (first-time-right) of the projects\n\nBring innovative cost effective solutions\n\nAchieve the customer satisfaction\n\nThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.\nCompany:\nAirbus India Private LimitedEmployment Type:\nPermanent-------\nExperience Level:\nProfessionalJob Family:\nDigital By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
