Functionally, the Candidate is also part of the Project, with the main mission of developing/designing electronic units for flight equipment to achieve the unit delivery in accordance with project schedule, cost and quality requirements. In a day-to-day basis, she/he will report to Project Manager. Within each project, the tasks are coordinated by a Technical Responsible or a Physical Design Responsible in charge of direct reporting to the Project Manager.\nThe Engineer’s tasks comprise the complete development of an electronic equipment: from the analysis of the requirements to the final delivery of the flight model once accepted.\nThe successful applicant will be in charge of the following tasks:\nSupport to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible for the analysis of project requirements.\nMechanical and Thermal Architecture analysis and design at module and unit level to assure the robustness of the design in the complete mission scenarios (compatible with mechanical loads, temperature range, radiation shielding…). \nDocumentation of the design and analysis.\nSupport to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the main project reviews (Requirement Review, Preliminary and Architecture Review, Critical Design Review…)\nSupport to Test Team for the acceptance of flight equipment, ensuring a close monitoring of any change, evolution or discrepancy from the agreed baseline in the characterization phase.\nSupport to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the resolution of NCRs (Non-conformance) raised during qualification or acceptance test campaign.\nRequired skills\nWe are looking for Candidates with the following skills and experience:\n- Experience in Thermodynamics and heat transfer analysis.\n- Experience in Mechanical analysis, like static and dynamic analysis, sinusoidal or random vibration analysis, shock transient analysis (Shock Response Spectrum).\n- Proficiency in the use of the following Finite Elements Tools:\nHypermesh\n- Femap\n- Nastran NX\n Recommended skills are:\nFive years of expertise in Thermodynamics and Mechanical design\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving ability\nDigital mindset (automation of tasks, scripting - Python, TCL, Bash, C/C++, use of digital design tools and simulators)\nKnowledge of space environment constraints\nTo be familiar with Agile Methodologies\nFast prototyping HW techniques\nHappy to learn and teach others\nEducation & background requirements\nEngineering Master's degree\nLanguage: English C1 & Spanish\nFeel like you can't tick some boxes above?
