Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Tool Developer to join our Avionics Software team.
The position is based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team that develops avionics equipmen t and simulators as an internal supplier.
Within the Avionics Software department, you will be involved in the design, development, production, and support of critical embedded products (such as flight controls, flight warning systems, communication, and maintenance equipment) for all Airbus aircraft.

Your challenges:
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the avionics software production system for airborne and ground avionics products and components, within an environment bound by industrial and certification constraints (DO178, DAL A to D software, DO330).
This production environment consists of development processes based on a set of qualified common methods and tools used to specify, architect, design, code, unit test, integrate, and verify our software.
In this role, your main activities will include:
Studying, developing, qualifying, deploying, and maintaining the tools and associated methods for the software factory
Providing the associated support activities
Performing static program analysis
Automating and optimizing specific software development phases
You will report to a manager responsible for a portfolio of avionics software products within an agile organization featuring dynamic role assignments.
Your boarding pass:
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Real-time embedded software development (DO178, DO330)
Experience in requirements engineering
Formal methods, compilation techniques, programming language semantics
Static analysis
Programming languages knowledge: C/C++, Python
Systems knowledge: Linux and Windows
Advanced level of English and French required
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
