Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Generac and other standby generator systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, load bank testing, and transfer switch inspections
- Recommend solutions that meet customer needs and ensure reliable backup power
- Maintain inventory and materials on company vehicle
- Complete service documentation and invoices accurately
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every call
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of generator or electrical/mechanical service experience
- Hands-on experience with Generac air-cooled or liquid-cooled units preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
