You will serve as a trusted guide, advising customers on the tools, hardware, and materials needed to successfully complete their projects. By demonstrating equipment use and sharing insights on product quality, you help our customers pioneer new solutions in their own work. .\nResponsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment to ensure a secure environment for everyone.\n\nProvides excellent customer service to both internal and external partners, fostering understanding and long-term relationships.\n\nEnsures all required paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.\n\nPartners with customers to identify the best tools and procedures for their specific tasks; demonstrates equipment use to build customer confidence.\n\nManages order entry and processes transactions; assists the team with the reconciliation of deposits.\n\nCoordinates via phone, e-mail, and in person with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery.\n\nContributes to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch.\n\nCoordinates the transfer of merchandise between locations to meet customer needs.\n\nMaintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues.\n\nStocks shelves and maintains welcoming showroom displays to provide an excellent customer experience.\n\nCoordinate cylinder movement and pallet organization\n\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nRequired Qualifications And Competencies\nRequired Qualifications:\nHS Diploma or equivalent required. \nMinimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments (we also value an equivalent combination of education and unique life experience).\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs on an occasional basis \nExcellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.\nExperience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.\nAttention to detail in handling transactions.\nAvailability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.\nMust be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.\nPreferred Qualifications: \nA background in gas, welding, or safety supplies is a wonderful asset.\nFamiliarity with SAP, Google, or MS Office Applications.\nA detailed understanding of SAP and PROS functionalities.\nThe ability to communicate clearly and warmly with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.\n________________________\nBenefits\nWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
