We believe that a variety of backgrounds makes our team stronger and more innovative.At Airgas, we RESPECT, HONOR and VALUE diversity.\nAirgas is Hiring for a Inventory Technician in Dallas, TX!\nWe are looking for you !\nComprehensive Family Benefits: Airgas offers a full benefits package designed to support your whole life, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance.\nSupport for Parents: We offer up to 14-week paid child birth benefits to support growing families.\nFuture Security: 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time.\nEarly Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment\nInventory Technician will travel to Medical Center customer sites in the Dallas area nurturing customer service relationships and building strong partnerships while supporting the distribution and tracking of Airgas Cylinders on Medical Center premises.\nPartner with customers to establish and support optimal cylinder gas inventory levels.\nSupport seasonal adjustments to inventory levels.\nPlace and process orders efficiently through the AirGas.com/SAP system.\nDocument cylinder gas inventory usage using Google Forms or Google Sheets.\nEnsure proper separation of empty, full, and active cylinders.\nRotate non-specialty gas products every 30 days to maintain quality.\nPerform scheduled rounds to maintain target inventory levels across all facility locations.\nPickup and return empty cylinders to storage areas to support seamless return to the production facility.\nMonitor and receive cylinder gas deliveries to verify accurate delivery documentation.\nSafely change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds at service sites.\nComply with all applicable facility guidelines and procedures, as well as Airgas standards and regulatory frameworks including, but not limited to: SAFECOR, HS&E, MQCT, CGMP, OSHA, etc.\nComplete assigned tasks aligned with established procedures.\nAssess initial situations effectively and collaborate with team members to resolve complex challenges.\nRespond swiftly to urgent needs to support uninterrupted product supply.\nConduct periodic cylinder inventory audits at specified intervals.\nProvide insightful inventory usage reports to hospital partners.\nCollaborate with the local accounts payable team to facilitate accurate billing and timely processing.\nChampion a culture of safety for all team members, customers, and the surrounding community. Safety is a core value and essential priority for every Airgas team member.\nCollaborate with the local safety department to support hospital personnel in best practices for handling and storing medical gas products.\nPromptly submit any Good Catch incidents to your manager or customer to foster continuous safety improvement.\nTravel: 60-100% of work time (this position is eligible for a monthly car allowance)\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
