This role bridges accounting and operational leadership, turning financial data into actionable insights to drive margin improvements, cost control and business growth.Alongside leading the local Finance Team, responsible for producing financial reporting to management with analysis of variances and key drivers as well as providing support to the Global Team in accordance with the company policies and procedures.\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis:\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations\nTrack actual performance against budgets and trends and conduct detailed variance analysis\nPerform product costing and margin analysis\nLead financial close processes for month end and year end cycles\nPrepare and submit VAT returns on time\nMonitor Internal Control ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to and making improvement where necessary.\nImplement and enforce company accounting policies and procedures\nAssist with Year End Audits and preparation of statutory accounts - UK and Singapore\nBudgeting & Forecasting:\nPrepare and monitor cash flow forecasts\nAssist with the annual budget and rolling forecasting cycles, working with the management team.\nFinancial Operations, Banking & Compliance:\nManage and reconcile multi-currency bank accounts\nOversee transactional finance operations within the company, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Nominal Ledger, Fixed Assets and Manual Journal entry\nEnforce internal controls and accounting policies\nEnsure compliance with statutory regulations \nAct as a point of contact for auditors, banking and statutory bodies\nTeam Leadership & Business Partnering:\nSupervise, mentor and develop Finance Team providing support where needed\nPartner with non-finance operational leaders to challenge assumptions, control costs and improve profitability\nEvaluate and improve financial systems, ERP workflows and internal controls\nProvide cover within the Department, as required\nCarry out any other duties as required\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nPerson Specification:\nPrevious experience of working in a Finance Department\nQualified by experience or professional qualification\nGood knowledge and understanding of SAGE 200\nAdvanced excel skills\nAbility to communicate effectively at all levels\nLeadership capability to guide a small team and manage tight deadlines\nStrong analytical mindset and attention to detail\nExperience of working with multi-currency \nExcellent time management and organisational skills \nA positive ‘can do’ approach\nTo ensure success in this role the Management Accountant should possess a good eye for detail and have a highly analytical mindset.
