Along with the Lead Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all types of vehicles/ equipment and hand tools within the company's fleet.\nIn particular, you will:\nReview and maintain maintenance schedules for equipment, including highway delivery equipment and different pump systems.\nFollow a checklist of inspection procedures for brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and other parts of our vehicles.\nPerform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.\nRespond to on-call emergency maintenance requests (could be after normal business hours).\nTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair OEM computer system equipment and wiring. Install, repair, and maintain PeopleNet OBC system.\nRead and interpret equipment condition reports and repair orders to properly plan equipment maintenance schedules. Contain costs by using warranty and evaluating service and parts options.\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; additional training such as technical school classes preferred.\nClass A CDL with Hazmat preferred, not required.\nThree or more years experience in working on highway equipment maintenance.\nCompetence using Google Chrome, maintenance management software, on-board OEM computer diagnostics systems, and Microsoft Office products.\nMust have the ability and experience to diagnose and repair highway delivery equipment including diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, computers and wiring, hydraulic pumping and product transfer pumps.\nAbility to work in a drug free environment.\n________________________\nBenefits\nWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
