The incumbent ensures that projects are properly executed to meet production objectives, while promoting ALC's quality and safety objectives.\nProvides technical and process support to production units:\nPartners with teams to resolve operating challenges.\n\nAssists in plant start-up and optimization.\n\nImplements planning and control techniques.\n\nHelps identify production opportunities, develop specifications for production procedures and revise existing procedures.\n\nGuides and supports team members on company procedures and policies.\n\nOptimizes and innovates plant processes and systems:\nAnticipates production needs and identifies, recommends and implements changes in plant processes, equipment and systems to advance plant safety, reliability and efficiency.\n\nAnalyzes new equipment.\n\nCoordinates resources effectively.\n\nNurtures and develops individual contributions and new working methods.\n\nMonitors activity:\nEvaluates industrial performance.\n\nProposes objectives based on production priorities and direction.\n\nFosters the success of the project and the sustainability of the results obtained.\n\nEvaluates and advances performance in the following areas: safety, environment, production quality, profitability, equipment reliability, production capacity and process improvement.\n\nPlans and leads plant projects:\nLeads local plant projects while collaborating as a key partner for major projects managed by the project team.\n\nNavigates projects seamlessly from planning to commissioning, using project management processes.\n\nEnsures that change management processes (MOC) and documentation control are properly executed.\n\nProcess improvement:\nCollaborates closely with their team and cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes.\n\nAnalyzes the operation of the business, identifies the causes of malfunctions and proposes appropriate corrective measures.\n\nQuality / Safety:\nContributes to the definition and implementation of recommendations and procedures.\n\nShares best practices and fosters risk management awareness.\n\nConducts collaborative safety reviews and preventive actions to improve safety/quality.\n\nIdentifies potentially risky situations and implements the necessary corrective actions.\n\nEnsures regulatory requirements and deadlines are met.\n\nIncludes prevention of future risks at the design stage.\n\nEnsures plant site safety andquality.\n\n____________________\nAre you a MATCH?\n Required Qualifications:\nThis position requires a Bachelor of Engineering degree (preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering).\n\n Preferred Qualifications:\n1-5 years of engineering experience (preferably in an industrial plant setting).\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position in California is $110,000.00.
