At Airgas, we have the opportunity to join an exceptional team that delivers results and pays you for your hard work and dedication!\nThe Plant Operator is responsible for examining, testing, filling, and weighing compressed and liquefied gas cylinders in accordance with company policies and procedures, and local, state and federal regulations. The Plant Operator is also responsible for meeting all safety standards in the loading and unloading of cylinder gases in accordance with Airgas procedures.\nOperate and maintain equipment within our production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts, to ensure a steady supply of industrial gases.\n\nPerform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal condition, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.\n\nSafely handle and transport cylinders, including filling and quality checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.\n\nOperate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely.\n\nMaintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities.\n\nCollaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.\n\nAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.\n\nParticipate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.\n\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.\n\nPrevious experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.\n\nAbility to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.\n\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\n\nFlexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.\n\n________________________\nBenefits\nWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
