The Plant Technician plays a key role in maintaining machinery, monitoring plant instrumentation, analyzing product quality, and ensuring smooth shipping operations within a 24/7 continuous operation environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely operate plant equipment and perform preventive maintenance in accordance with established guidelines.\nRestore and maintain machinery throughout the facility, documenting all maintenance performed and maintaining history files.\nMonitor instruments during plant operation to ensure accuracy, maintaining proper logs and operational records.\nReplace chemicals in towers as required by operational procedures.\nAnalyze and test products using analytical instruments, including gas chromatographs and detector tubes.\nLoad trucks with products for shipping and delivery.\nParticipate actively in the Quality Improvement Process.\nInteract with internal and external customers to enhance overall customer satisfaction.\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nStrong mechanical inclination and hands-on repair capabilities.\nAbility to work 12-hour rotating shifts (8-8 schedule: 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights) in a 24/7 environment.\nComfort and ability to work in all weather conditions (extreme cold and heat).\nFull comfort wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\n_________________________\nBenefits\nWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
