This position must be able to build effective relationships with all levels of associates within the organization.\nWe are looking for you !\nComprehensive Family Benefits: Airgas offers a full benefits package designed to support your whole life, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance.\nSupport for Parents: We offer up to 14-week paid child birth benefits to support growing families.\nFuture Security: 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time.\nEarly Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment.\nThis role will also liaison with the ALABS shared services including; accounts payable, cash applications, central billing, vendor chargebacks, general ledger accounting, and fixed asset functions as defined in the Airgas + ALABS RACI matrix.\nIn Particular you will:\nEnsure the accuracy & integrity of the Division/Region financial statements and other information reported to internal and external users.\nDirect responsibility will include:\nSupervising accurate financial and statistical close processes, in conjunction with ALABS, including general ledger account reconciliations and other analyses within established timelines. \nSignificant sales accruals that are not based on a standard report/calculation.\nSignificant COS & OPEX accruals, that are not based on a standard report/calculation.\nLocalized accounting topics including, but not limited to, real estate taxes and personal property taxes.\nAd-hoc entries arising from the month end close review process\nProvide input and support to Airgas Financial Reporting on unusual items as well as Line 5 (share plans, asset disposals, settlements) and Line 9 (restructuring, etc.) topics.\nProactively, and/or as requested, develop and direct the preparation and communication of ad hoc accounting reports and analysis\n________________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field\nCPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting a plus\nMinimum of four years financial reporting / financial accounting experience, public accounting experience and exposure to medium-to-large companies is a plus \nMinimum three years supervisor level accounting and financial reporting experience in positions of increasing responsibility is a plus\nSolid leadership qualities including team management and people development skills\nAdvanced experience with SAP software\nSkilled project management skills required\nStrong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while supporting divisional, local, and corporate management and demands.\n________________________\nBenefits\nWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
