Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role focuses on providing effective technical support to ensure optimum safety, reliability and cost effectiveness of the Airnorth fleet. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with availability after hours to respond to urgent operational matters.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure all aircraft are repaired and modified in accordance with the OEM and Part 21 instructions.\n\nProvide technical assistance to the Technical Services Manager for efficient operation of Airnorth fleet.\n\nLiaise with Engineering and Flight Operations department on technical matters and troubleshooting defects.\n\nAssess technical documents including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Engineering Orders\n\nPerformance, monitoring and oversight all activities associated with the reliability review program.\n\nEvaluate aircraft systems and engine trend data downloads.\n\nProvide maintenance technical support.\n\nLiaison with the CASR Part 21 representatives, airframe, engine, equipment manufactures and regulatory authorities.\n\nSelection Criteria\nFormal aviation related engineering or trade licences and/or experience as LAME or tertiary engineering qualifications.\n\nSound knowledge of Reliability Systems and/or Statistical analysis.\n\nAbility to research and prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nKnowledge of CASA regulatory requirements.\n\nWorking knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Excel/Word/Oulook.\n\nPrevious experience with maintenance management software and database e.g.: Envision, IAS, TRAX, Winair or similar.\n\nAbout you\nMust possess high-level interpersonal skills to manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes.\n\nMust be eligible to obtain and maintain an ASIC.\n\nLife at Airnorth\nOur people are at the centre of everything we do.
