You will lead a small team, set the technical direction for our infrastructure, and still spend a meaningful share of your time building.\nResponsibilities\nLead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps and infrastructure engineers\nOwn the infrastructure roadmap and prioritize it against the needs of R&D, QA, and field operations\nOwn cloud environments (dev, staging, production), managed as code with Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps practices\nOwn the CI/CD platform and build runner fleet, and standardize build, versioning, and release pipelines across all repositories\nOwn the base OS image, provisioning, and over-the-air update process for the drone's onboard computer and ground units\nOwn device identity, secrets management, certificates, and access control across cloud, CI, and edge devices\nOwn connectivity between field sites and the cloud: firewalls, VPNs, cellular links, and network segmentation\nOwn monitoring, logging, and alerting across cloud, fleet, and CI, and define SLOs for platform services\nRun on-call and incident response for the platform, and drive post-incident improvements\nManage cloud cost, capacity, and security posture\nRequirements\n6+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering\n2+ years leading engineers as a team lead or tech lead\nDeep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent)\nDeep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nExperience owning CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)\nStrong Linux systems background: networking, storage, boot, and packaging\nStrong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)\nExperience running production systems: on-call, incident response, monitoring, and SLOs\nStrong communication skills and the ability to set clear ownership boundaries with other teamsNice To Have\n\nExperience with embedded Linux, NVIDIA Jetson, Yocto, or custom OS image builds\nExperience with fleet management or over-the-air updates for edge devices\nExperience with site networking: enterprise firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, cellular and satellite links\nExperience
