The role sits within a construction environment focused on civils, piling, HSSE, quality assurance, and contractor oversight. This position will play a key part in driving safe execution, construction compliance, and successful project delivery through to handover.\nRequired Education:\nMinimum HNC in an engineering-related subject or a trade apprenticeship with appropriate technical qualification\nRequired Experience:\nManagement experience in the engineering construction industry\nDemonstrable experience in a similar role or a senior position in construction management\nExtensive knowledge of the construction process, including implementation and management\nExperience reviewing contractor progress, construction processes, and technical compliance against drawings, specifications, and scopes of work\nExperience supporting large onshore construction activities and delivery against project schedule requirements\nRequired Skills:\nStrong understanding of construction HSE requirements, including permits to work, CDM regulations, method statements, COSHH requirements, and construction safety planning\nAbility to ensure safe, efficient, and structured delivery of construction activities in line with project schedule\nKnowledge of management of change compliance and execution risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle\nAbility to review quality assurance plans, inspection plans, inspection monitoring, and hold points\nCapability to identify deficiencies, initiate non-conformance reports, and support close-out activities\nUnderstanding of commercial terms on EPCM projects and ability to negotiate contractual matters with attention to detail\nAnalytical and logical problem-solving skills\nAbility to assess working conditions, recognise engineering hazards and risks, and understand environmental responsibilities\nWorking knowledge of the operation and application of appropriate physical plant and equipment\nAbility to communicate effectively with project stakeholders verbally and in writing\nMethodical approach to work with consistent output and a high level of accuracy\nAbility to work independently and deliver training within the construction team\nFully conversant with project management systems and construction practices and procedures\nRequired Certifications:\nECITB temporary works training or equivalent\nCSCS Gold Card or higher\nCurrent SMSTS certificate\nSite Safety Medical\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong communication, networking, collaboration, and team-working capability, particularly within multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams\nFull knowledge of project-specific execution strategies and the ability to develop them to meet challenging project objectives and deliverables\nIncident-free mindset with the ability to act as a role model for the project team\nProven HSSE leadership in managing and delivering large complex onshore projects\nStrong understanding of how project scope elements integrate and interface from construction through commissioning and handover to operations\nAbility to work across sub-teams to resolve issues and support decisions in the best interests of the integrated project team\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
