The role is suited to professionals with deep expertise in large construction projects, multidisciplinary contractor interfaces, and specialist delivery across civil, pipelines, structural steel, mechanical, or electrical, instrumentation and controls scopes. This position offers the chance to play a key role in safe and successful project delivery in a complex field construction environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare construction readiness checklists for each annual construction campaign.\nReview permits, stipulations, engineering drawings, execution constraints, and hazards to finalise field construction plans.\nParticipate in constructability reviews and provide feedback to planning functions.\nProvide input to construction support strategies including camp logistics, aviation, transportation, equipment, fuel forecasting, material delivery, and laydown requirements.\nDevelop company deliverables required for the construction readiness process.\nLead construction readiness activities and weekly planning meetings with contractors.\nEnsure deliverables are reviewed and approved by accountable functions before mobilization.\nReview readiness actions and confirm all items are satisfactorily addressed before field mobilization.\nSupport a smooth transition from construction planning into field execution.\nSupervise assigned construction resources to deliver scope, cost, quality, milestone, and HSE objectives.\nMonitor contractor performance through construction KPI reporting.\nProvide direction to contractors on performance improvement opportunities.\nInterface with contractor field leadership and manage day-to-day contract execution.\nManage interfaces between multiple field construction contractors and coordinate SIMOPs activities.\nSupport delivery of agreed execution strategies against key priorities and milestones.\nLead HSE performance through communication, support, and enforcement of policies, procedures, guidelines, and objectives.\nPerform jobsite walk-downs, review task hazard analyses and job hazard analyses, and reinforce safe work practices.\nParticipate in contractor toolbox talks and safety meetings.\nEnforce compliance with permit stipulations issued by regulatory agencies.\nFacilitate predictive indicator meetings and safety engagement sessions to improve safe work behaviors.\nSupport behavior-based safety observations and incident free culture activities in the field.\nRequired Experience:\n10+ years of construction experience.\n7+ years of construction supervision or construction management experience.\nProven ability to lead and deliver large construction projects safely and successfully.\nProven ability to manage interfaces involving multiple field construction contractors.\nRequired Skills:\nSpecialist knowledge in construction installation methodology and contract management.\nTechnical expertise in at least one major construction discipline: civil, pipelines, structural steel erection, mechanical, or electrical, instrumentation and controls.\nStrong capability in construction readiness, contractor oversight, and field execution planning.\nStrong understanding of HSE leadership within active construction environments.\nPreferred Education & Certifications:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction, or relevant field experience (Preferred).\nPreferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:\nPrevious experience with Capital Projects Management System processes.\n5+ years of construction experience in Arctic conditions.\nStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated performance as part of a team on a large project and in collaboration with project leadership.\nStrong multi-tasking capability with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and organizational boundaries.\nAbility to build trusted relationships, encourage dialogue, and influence performance and results.\nA pragmatic and adaptable approach with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.\n#LI-AP5\nNot the job you are looking for?
