The role focuses on delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective control system solutions across distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, fire and gas detection systems, communication systems, safety systems, and process control systems. This position offers exposure to complex project delivery, design review, construction monitoring, startup, and commissioning activities in a highly technical project environment.\nRequired Experience:\nExperience overseeing control system design and delivery for projects to ensure systems are safe, reliable, and cost-effective to build, operate, and maintain\n\nExperience within FEED and EPC project phases in an engineering and construction environment\n\nExperience with base load natural gas liquefaction or LNG export plant projects\n\nExperience supporting construction, startup, and commissioning activities\n\nExperience participating in process hazard analysis, HAZOPs, and other formal hazard assessments\n\nExperience managing design changes through a management of change process for instrumentation, controls, communication, safety protection systems, and plant modifications\n\nRequired Skills:\nStrong familiarity with standard industry control system designs and practices\n\nTechnical knowledge of distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, fire and gas detection systems, communication systems, safety systems, and process control systems\n\nAbility to review and comment on basis of design documents, design criteria, design philosophies, project specifications, drawings, data sheets, and related design documentation\n\nAbility to provide engineering design recommendations and monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with applicable design codes, standards, regulations, and guides\n\nAbility to assess instrumentation and controls drawings and specifications for acceptability, compliance, and optimization opportunities\n\nStrong commitment to safety and awareness of applicable controls and instrumentation industry codes and standards\n\nAbility to respond to technical queries and formal requests for information and verify final design documents are ready for project turnover\n\nAbility to support training for operations and maintenance personnel on newly implemented technologies\n\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
