This is primarily an administrative position responsible for managing truck traffic through the scale house, recording accurate load and weight information, monitoring vehicles through a camera system, and maintaining daily records.\nThe ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, interacting with truck drivers throughout the day, and using Microsoft Excel and internal computer systems to maintain accurate documentation.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate the scale house and process incoming and outgoing trucks.\nWeigh trucks and accurately record load and weight information.\nVerify trucking tickets and system entries to ensure information is complete and accurate for billing purposes.\nUse a camera monitoring system to inspect incoming and outgoing trucks, including identifying whether loads or vehicles meet site requirements.\nCoordinate with truck drivers entering and exiting the landfill.\nPerform daily data entry using Microsoft Excel and the company's internal system.\nCreate and maintain weight and load tally summaries for trucking companies.\nPrepare and distribute daily load tally information as required.\nAnswer phones and communicate professionally with drivers, contractors, and site personnel.\nMaintain organized and accurate records and documentation.\nMaintain a clean and organized scale house.\nWork effectively both independently and as part of the site team.\n Qualifications \nPrevious experience in data entry, administration, scale house operations, dispatch, logistics, transportation, or a similar environment is an asset.\nComfortable using Microsoft Excel for data entry and record tracking.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and verify information.\nComfortable learning and working within internal computer systems.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAble to interact professionally with truck drivers and site personnel.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nComfortable working 12-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off rotation.\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
