We are recruiting three technicians to support the commissioning and ramp-up of a significant mill expansion project at one of the state's premier mining sites.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a high-profile processing plant upgrade, working alongside commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams during a critical project phase.\nPosition Details\nRole: E&I Commissioning Technician\nNumber of Vacancies: 3\n Location: Kalgoorlie, WA (FIFO)\nRoster: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off\nDuration: Approximately 5-6 months\nPay Rate: $98.02/hour casual flat rate\nProject Overview\nThe project involves a major mill expansion aimed at increasing plant throughput and processing capacity. The commissioning phase is currently progressing to schedule, with ongoing plant integration, testing, optimisation, and operational handover activities.\nAdvanced Automation: Oversee the deployment of online elemental analyzers and automated particle-size monitors.\n\nMetallurgical Optimization: Run real-time diagnostic testing on mineral recovery rates during the initial ore-feed ramp-up.\n\nSafety & Isolation: Author and execute complex Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across intersecting new and live plant boundaries.\n\nOperational Handover: Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train standard plant operators on new technical assets.\n\nEssential Requirements\nTo be considered for this role, applicants must hold:\nWA Electrical Licence (front and back copy)\nCertificate IV in Instrumentation\nEEHA Certificate\nCurrent Driver's Licence (front and back copy)\nCurrent LVR/CPR Certificate (issued within the last 12 months)\nCurrent First Aid Certificate (within the last 3 years)\nNational Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)\nFull Medical completed within the last 6 months, including LABDAS (28-day report)\nPlease note: Medical compliance requirements are strictly enforced by the client.
