ABOUT LABA\nLaba Holdings Limited is the umbrella landowner company of Porebada, Boera, Papa and Rea Rea in Central Province, Papua New Guinea. Laba delivers services into the PNG LNG and Papua LNG projects and operates a group of businesses across construction, logistics, training, technology and community services.\nLaba Logistics is a 100 per cent Laba-owned business being constituted to move the Papua LNG downstream workforce between the Caution Bay villages, the accommodation camp and the plant site. It starts on hired buses and moves to an owned fleet with a depot on Laba land and village drivers under the Project Labour Agreement.\n2. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION\nRun the buses every day: pre-start checks, hire operator performance, marshalling, breakdowns, and the depot once built.\n3. LABA STANDARD RESPONSIBILITIES\nUphold and live by the Laba Holdings vision, mission and values: more than just a landowner company.\nComply with Laba's contractual obligations to its clients, and with Laba policies, procedures and delegations of authority.\nWork to the QHSE policy. Stop work authority applies to every person.\nGive first preference to the people of Porebada, Boera, Papa and Rea Rea in every hiring, training and procurement decision, as the Project Labour Agreement requires.\n4.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDaily pre-start and post-shift inspections with the operator's drivers; defects logged and closed.\nSupervise marshalling, loading and departures at the pick-up points and the plant gate.\nManage breakdown and replacement response with the operator.\nHold the operator to the hire agreement standards; report non-conformances.\nTake over depot operations when the Laba depot opens.\nDeputise for the Transport Manager on site\n5.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS\nPre-start compliance 100 per cent.\nReplacement bus on the road within 60 minutes of a breakdown.\nNon-conformances closed within five days.\n6.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nFive or more years supervising transport or fleet operations, resource project preferred.\nHeavy vehicle licence.\nFrom one of the four Caution Bay villages preferred.\n7.HOW TO APPLY\nApplications and enquiries are handled by Airswift (Air Energi Pacifica Limited) on Laba's behalf.
