The role requires close coordination with EPC contractors, vendors, shipyards, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering & Design Management\nReview and comment on detailed engineering deliverables related to rotating equipment.\n\nEnsure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and international codes including API, ISO, and ASME.\n\nParticipate in design reviews, technical audits, HAZOPs, and multidisciplinary engineering workshops.\n\nSupport technical risk assessments and change management activities.\n\nEnsure engineering solutions are optimized for reliability, operability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.\n\nRotating Equipment Package Management\nProvide technical oversight for rotating equipment packages including:\nGas Injection Compressors\n\nGas Export Compressors\n\nCentrifugal and Positive Displacement Pumps\n\nGas Turbines and Drivers\n\nUtility Compressors\n\nProduced Water and Seawater Lift Pumps\n\nReview vendor packages, technical queries, deviations, and design documentation.\n\nParticipate in technical bid evaluations and supplier qualification activities.\n\nSupport total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments and equipment selection activities.\n\nVendor Coordination & FAT Activities\nManage technical interfaces with equipment suppliers and package vendors.\n\nParticipate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and witness testing activities.\n\nEnsure timely closure of technical actions and vendor-related issues.\n\nMonitor supplier performance and deliverable schedules throughout project execution.\n\nInterface Management\nCoordinate interfaces between rotating equipment and:\nProcess Engineering\n\nMechanical Engineering\n\nElectrical Systems\n\nInstrumentation & Control\n\nSafety Systems\n\nHVAC Systems\n\nCommissioning Teams\n\nEnsure effective communication between engineering offices, fabrication yards, vendors, and project stakeholders.\n\nConstruction, Yard & Commissioning Support\nSupport fabrication yard activities during equipment installation and mechanical completion.\n\nVerify equipment preservation, alignment, installation quality, and readiness for commissioning.\n\nReview Inspection Test Records (ITRs), Punch Lists, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and completion dossiers.\n\nAssist commissioning and start-up teams through system completion and operational handover phases.\n\nSupport performance testing and troubleshooting during commissioning activities.\n\nProject Controls & Reporting\nContribute to project progress monitoring, weekly reporting, and schedule reviews.\n\nSupport manpower, procurement, and engineering readiness assessments.\n\nEnsure alignment with project execution plans and contractual requirements.\n\nHSE & Quality\nPromote and comply with all company HSE and quality requirements.\n\nSupport the project's objectives regarding safety, technical excellence, reliability, and environmental performance.\n\nEnsure all activities are executed according to company standards and industry best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\n\nMinimum 10 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering and/or inspection within Oil & Gas.\n\nMinimum 3 years of FPSO, offshore production, FLNG, LNG, or major offshore project experience.\n\nProven experience during Detailed Engineering and EPC project phases.\n\nStrong knowledge of API, ISO, ASME, and international rotating equipment standards.\n\nExperience managing vendor documentation, package engineering, and technical interfaces.\n\nExperience participating in FATs and supplier technical evaluations.\n\nFamiliarity with commissioning, pre-commissioning, system completion, and start-up activities.\n\nFluent English required; French is advantageous.\n\nPreferred Experience\nCandidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:\nFPSO Topsides projects from FEED through Commissioning.\n\nGas injection and gas export compressor packages.\n\nMajor offshore project developments with operators such as:\nTotalEnergies\n\nShell\n\nExxonMobil\n\nBP\n\nEquinor\n\nPetrobras\n\nExperience working with major FPSO contractors and EPC contractors such as:\nSBM Offshore\n\nMODEC\n\nBW Offshore\n\nSaipem\n\nTechnip Energies\n\nHyundai Heavy Industries (HHI)\n\nSamsung Heavy Industries (SHI)\n\nHanwha Ocean\n\nShipyard or fabrication yard experience in South Korea, Singapore, China, or similar international construction locations.\n\nCommissioning and start-up support on offshore facilities.\n\nMobility Requirements\nThe successful candidate must be willing to work across multiple international locations during the project lifecycle:\nParis, France (1 to 2 years)\n\nSingapore (up to 18 months)\n\nGeoje, South Korea (up to 18 months)\n\nFrequent missions to fabrication yards and project sites may be required.\nAbout the Company\nThis company operates within the energy sector and supports major engineering and project activities internationally.\nAbout Airswift\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
