This position will assist the Procurement and Supply Chain team with purchasing activities, supplier coordination, purchase order management, expediting, and materials tracking to ensure timely delivery of goods and services supporting project execution.\nThe ideal candidate will possess experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials management, or project support within construction, energy, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, or industrial environments.\nRequired Experience:\n2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials management, logistics, or project support.\n\nAssist with preparation and issuance of purchase orders for equipment, materials, and services.\n\nSupport supplier solicitation, bid evaluations, and quote comparisons.\n\nCoordinate with project teams to understand procurement requirements and delivery schedules.\n\nTrack and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.\n\nSupport expediting activities with vendors and suppliers.\n\nMaintain accurate procurement records and documentation.\n\nAssist with vendor onboarding and qualification processes.\n\nCoordinate material status updates and communicate delivery schedules to project stakeholders.\n\nSupport invoice reconciliation and purchase order closeout activities.\n\nMonitor procurement reports and maintain data within purchasing systems.\n\nWork closely with construction, project controls, logistics, and warehouse teams to support project requirements.\n\nEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.\n\nRequired Skills:\nAssociate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.\n\nStrong capability in purchase order management, procurement administration, vendor coordination, and supplier relationship management.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\n\nStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail, analytical ability, problem solving, and team collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Construction Management, or a related field.\n\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Viewpoint, or similar platforms.\n\nExposure to procurement processes for construction or capital projects.\n\nUnderstanding of purchasing terminology, contracts, and supplier management.\n\nExperience supporting large engineering, procurement, and construction projects.\n\nFamiliarity with materials management and inventory tracking concepts.\n\nNot the job you are looking for?
