The role is centred on sampling, analytical testing, facility support, and asset integrity activities, with responsibility for data reporting through LabVantage (LIMS) and Business Objects. This position offers varied technical exposure across laboratory analysis, field sampling, corrosion monitoring support, and day-to-day maintenance tasks in a remote operating environment.\nRequired Experience:\n2+ years of direct oilfield or petrochemical operations experience.\nAbility to work independently on 12-hour shifts without supervision.\nExperience supporting facility systems, field sampling, analytical monitoring, or related operational activities.\nRequired Skills:\nStrong capability in sampling and analysis of production facility systems including gas, water, oil, glycols, and custody transfer crude.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to use LabVantage (LIMS) and Business Objects for analytical data reporting and data quality checks.\nAbility to read and interpret meters, gauges, and written instructions.\nAbility to work under a respiratory protection plan, differentiate colours, and perform technical tasks independently.\nPractical ability to support drill site and facility maintenance, including pigging assistance, flange management activities, equipment inspection, tooling support, inventory handling, and general housekeeping.\nRequired Certifications:\nValid driver’s licence (Required).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry or another science discipline with coursework in general chemistry and analytical chemistry.\nTwo or more years of laboratory testing experience in the petrochemical industry.\nTwo or more years of oilfield operations, roustabout, field maintenance, or mechanical support experience.\nExperience working in remote or Arctic operating locations.\nAbility to identify historical trends from large datasets.\nExperience performing ad hoc bench chemistry testing to classify unknown samples.\nFamiliarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).\nInstrument certifications obtained through completion of industry-supplied technical training (Preferred).\nTraining and experience in flange management.\nExperience with material handling, rigging, and lifting operations.\nExperience performing facility maintenance, equipment inspections, and minor repairs.\nExperience operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in an industrial environment.\nFamiliarity with snow removal, winterisation activities, and working in severe weather conditions.\nIntermediate proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs and isometric drawings.\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
