Supporting the Project Manager - Procurement, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials, equipment, and services are procured, tracked, and delivered safely and efficiently to project sites.\nThis position is responsible for coordinating procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, overseeing logistics movements, and ensuring project materials are delivered in line with project schedules. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with project, engineering, contracts, and logistics teams while contributing to large-scale renewable energy and decarbonisation initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) within SAP.\nCoordinate the end-to-end procurement process to support project delivery requirements.\nTrack and monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules.\nLiaise with suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.\nSupport sourcing activities including Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).\nConduct market research and identify suitable suppliers and service providers.\nCoordinate international and domestic logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, collection, and site delivery.\nMonitor supply chain performance and proactively resolve delivery issues.\nCollaborate with project teams to confirm specifications, quantities, and required delivery dates.\nEstablish and monitor procurement performance metrics and reporting.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes.\nAssist with vendor management and supplier performance monitoring.\nEnsure procurement and logistics activities comply with company policies and procedures.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will possess:\nMinimum 5 years' experience in a Materials, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Purchasing role.\nStrong understanding of procurement processes, systems, and supply chain operations.\nExperience coordinating material deliveries and logistics activities for project-based environments.\nProficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\nHigh attention to detail and problem-solving capability.\nExperience engaging with suppliers, freight providers, and logistics contractors.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience supporting major projects within mining, energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, or resources sectors.\nExposure to freight forwarding, shipping, customs clearance, and import/export processes.\nForklift Licence.\nTertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Contract Management, or a related discipline.\nWhat's on Offer\n12-month casual contract\nPerth CBD location\nOpportunity to support industry-leading decarbonisation projects\nCollaborative project delivery environment\nExposure to large-scale procurement and logistics operations\nWork alongside experienced project, engineering, procurement, and supply chain professionals\nThis opportunity is ideally suited to a procurement, logistics, or supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and has a passion for ensuring materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\nAbout Airswift\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
