The role oversees maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment, packaged units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, HVAC systems, lifting equipment, safety systems, and accommodation facilities while ensuring compliance with operational, technical, and HSE requirements.\nThe position plays a key role in maximizing asset performance, minimizing downtime, supporting production continuity, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintenance & Asset Integrity\nLead and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities for offshore production and processing facilities.\nEnsure the integrity, reliability, and availability of rotating and static equipment, pressure systems, valves, HVAC systems, lifting equipment, and safety-critical equipment.\nDevelop, implement, and continuously improve preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance programs.\nReview and update maintenance procedures to align with company standards and industry best practices.\nParticipate in equipment commissioning, start-up, shutdown, turnaround, and recommissioning activities.\nConduct inspections of installations and equipment to verify compliance with technical specifications, operational requirements, and safety standards.\nAnalyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve long-term reliability.\nWork Planning & Execution\nReview maintenance notifications, assess priorities, and determine manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.\nPlan daily and weekly maintenance activities and allocate resources effectively.\nCoordinate permit-to-work activities and ensure proper isolation, site preparation, and authorization before work commencement.\nMonitor maintenance execution, provide technical guidance, and ensure completion of work in accordance with approved procedures.\nPerform final inspections, testing, and verification before equipment handover and start-up.\nTechnical Support & Troubleshooting\nLead complex fault-finding and maintenance activities on critical offshore equipment.\nDiagnose issues through operational analysis, equipment testing, performance monitoring, and maintenance records reviews.\nConduct alignment, overhaul, repair, and troubleshooting of pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment.\nMonitor equipment condition using predictive maintenance techniques, including vibration analysis and condition monitoring.\nIdentify recurring failures and recommend engineering improvements and reliability enhancement initiatives.\nContractor & Resource Management\nSupervise technicians, contractors, and maintenance personnel involved in mechanical activities.\nCoordinate contractor work scopes and ensure compliance with permit-to-work and HSE requirements.\nMonitor contractor performance, progress, and quality of work.\nVerify timesheets, material usage, and completion of assigned activities.\nMaterials & CMMS Management\nManage maintenance records, work orders, notifications, and technical documentation.\nUtilize CMMS systems (SAP or equivalent) for maintenance planning, work order management, reporting, scheduling, and inventory control.\nReview and evaluate material requirements and technical specifications to ensure suitability for operational applications.\nCoordinate spare parts management and maintain accurate inventory records.\nShutdown & Turnaround Support\nParticipate in the planning and execution of plant shutdowns, major overhauls, and turnaround activities.\nPrepare work scopes, schedules, manpower requirements, and risk assessments.\nSupport equipment start-up, commissioning, and performance verification following maintenance activities.\nTraining & Mentoring\nProvide technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to maintenance personnel and junior engineers.\nSupport workforce competency development initiatives and technical training programs.\nPromote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nStrong understanding of rotating equipment, static equipment, process systems, and offshore production facilities.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, datasheets, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.\nExperience\nMinimum 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair within the oil & gas, petrochemical, LNG, refinery, or offshore energy industries.\nProven experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated auxiliary systems.\nExperience managing offshore maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment reliability programs.\nHands-on experience with CMMS platforms, preferably SAP.\nRequired Skills\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.\nMaintenance planning and scheduling expertise.\nKnowledge of predictive and condition-based maintenance techniques.\nFamiliarity with offshore permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures.\nGood leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.\nStrong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.\nHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)\nEnsure all maintenance activities comply with company HSE policies, procedures, and industry regulations.\nPromote a strong safety culture and lead by example in all work activities.\nConduct risk assessments and hazard identification prior to work execution.\nParticipate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.\nSupport emergency response and incident management processes.\nEnsure personnel competence and compliance with mandatory offshore safety requirements.\nChampion continuous improvement in HSE performance and operational excellence.\nWorking Conditions\nOffshore rotational assignment.\nRequires extensive field presence, including frequent walking, climbing, and working in offshore environmental conditions.\nCombination of field supervision and office-based planning, reporting, and technical review activities.\nMay be required to provide technical support and decision-making during equipment
