Mechanical Fitter

Henderson, WA Day Shift | 10 Hour Days | Potential Weekend Work

Airswift is currently partnering with a well-established engineering contractor to source experienced Mechanical Fitters for upcoming workshop assignments based in Henderson WA.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy team, with consistent hours and the potential for overtime and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical fitting work across workshop and potential marine/industrial scopes
  • Work on shafts, gearboxes, realignments and related equipment
  • Maintain strong safety and quality standards
  • Complete required site and client inductions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter
  • Experience working on shafts, gearboxes, realignments etc. (particularly for marine scope)
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Working at Heights
  • White Card
  • Confined Space
  • Fire Sentry (preferred but not essential)
  • Competent with completing multiple client inductions if required

Details:

  • Day shift - 6:30am start Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work as required
  • Start date - 6th July
  • Online inductions required prior to starting, plus additional client inductions may be required before mobilisation
