Working closely with construction, commissioning, engineering, and contractor teams, you will play a key role in ensuring successful project execution and handover.\nResponsibilities\nSupervise mechanical construction activities, including structural erection, equipment installation, piping fabrication, installation, and testing\nVerify all mechanical works are executed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable international standards\nEnsure materials used on site comply with project requirements and quality standards\nMonitor construction progress against project schedules and identify potential delays and recovery actions\nProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and practical solutions to site issues\nValidate completed work quantities and construction progress\nEnsure punch list items are identified, tracked, and closed out appropriately\nWitness construction and pre-commissioning tests and endorse quality documentation where required\nMaintain accurate records of manpower, site activities, and construction progress\nCoordinate with commissioning, engineering, quality, and HSE teams to support project delivery\nEnsure contractors maintain a safe working environment and comply with all project HSE requirements\nRequirements\nTechnical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline\nMinimum 6 years' experience within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or Industrial sectors\nMinimum 4 years' experience in a Mechanical Works Supervisor or Construction Supervision role\nStrong knowledge of mechanical equipment installation, piping systems, static equipment, vessels, and rotating equipment\nExperience supervising construction activities on major industrial or energy projects\nUnderstanding of mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover processes\nFamiliarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection requirements, and construction quality standards\nKnowledge of construction planning, progress measurement, and reporting processes\nGood understanding of HSE requirements within large construction projects\nProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with completion management systems is advantageous\nStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills\nThe Next Step\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a major Carbon Capture & Storage project and play a key role in delivering critical mechanical construction activities.
