The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of offshore construction scopes while ensuring compliance with HSE standards, project schedules, quality requirements, and budget objectives.\nThis is a leadership role requiring extensive offshore construction experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams during campaign, shutdown, brownfield, and project construction activities.\n Key Responsibilities \nConstruction Planning & Preparation\nCoordinate with Project Engineers, Construction Coordinators, and Engineering teams during project preparation and execution phases.\nReview engineering deliverables and construction work packs to ensure constructability and offshore execution readiness.\nParticipate in design reviews, constructability assessments, HAZID workshops, and risk assessments.\nSupport development of offshore construction plans and execution strategies.\nAssist with preparation of:\nPermit to Work (PTW) packages\nIsolation plans\nLifting plans\nMethod statements\nJob Safety Analyses (JSA)\n\nOrganize site surveys and pre-execution inspections as required.\nIdentify resource, equipment, tooling, consumable, and contractor requirements necessary for execution.\nOffshore Construction Execution\nLead and supervise offshore construction teams during campaign and project execution.\nEnsure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures.\nManage daily offshore activities and monitor progress against approved schedules.\nMaintain regular communication with offshore and onshore stakeholders regarding work status and emerging issues.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary construction teams comprising:\nMechanical/Piping Supervisors\nE&I Supervisors\nQC & Materials Supervisors\nHSE Supervisors\nTechnicians and Trade Personnel\nSpecialist Contractors and Vendors\n\nManage and control Permit to Work activities.\nConduct routine site inspections, safety tours, and toolbox talk audits.\nReview contractor manpower deployment and ensure adequate resources are available.\nVerify and approve contractor timesheets as required.\nEscalate critical issues to management to maintain project schedule and production objectives.\nHSE & Risk Management\nChampion a strong Incident-Free Safety Culture.\nEnsure compliance with all company HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in risk assessments, HAZIDs, JSAs, and safety reviews.\nPromote safe work practices across all offshore construction activities.\nEnsure hazards, incidents, and safety observations are reported and addressed promptly.\nDrive safe execution with a target of zero incidents and zero harm.\nLogistics, Materials & Resource Management\nEnsure all required materials, consumables, spare parts, tools, equipment, and personnel are available before work execution.\nCoordinate mobilization and demobilization of personnel, materials, and equipment.\nWork closely with logistics and materials teams to track material availability and delivery schedules.\nMonitor utilization of offshore resources to optimize productivity and cost efficiency.\nPlanning & Scheduling\nSupport development and maintenance of detailed Level 4 construction schedules.\nProvide input into campaign planning activities ranging from long-term planning through execution phases.\nAssist with forecasting:\nManpower requirements\nAccommodation requirements\nEquipment needs\nContractor resource requirements\n\nSupport critical path maintenance and schedule optimization initiatives.\nQuality & Commissioning Support\nEnsure all construction activities meet approved quality standards and specifications.\nCoordinate with QA/QC personnel on inspections and quality documentation.\nSupport Mechanical Completion (MC) activities and handover processes.\nDeliver complete construction dossiers including:\nRed-line mark-ups\nAs-built documentation\nMechanical completion records\nPre-commissioning documentation\n\nProvide support to commissioning teams during project handover stages.\nProject Close-Out & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to project close-out reports and lessons learned activities.\nEnsure completion and closure of work orders.\nCompile and archive execution records and construction documentation.\nSupport preparation of as-built dossiers and final project records.\nProvide feedback on project cost performance and execution effectiveness.\nParticipate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.\n Requirements \nOne of the following is required:\nDegree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; OR\nHigher Diploma or equivalent technical qualification; OR\nRecognized trade qualification with extensive offshore industry experience.\nExperience\nMinimum 15 years of experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry.\nProven experience supervising offshore construction activities within operating facilities.\nStrong background in:\nBrownfield modifications\nShutdowns and campaigns\nOffshore construction execution\nOil & Gas production facilities\n\nExperience managing multidisciplinary contractor workforces and offshore execution teams.\nTechnical Competencies\nStrong understanding of offshore construction methodologies and execution practices.\nAbility to read and interpret:\nP&IDs\nIsometric drawings\nVessel GA drawings\nOffshore piping layouts\n\nKnowledge of shutdown and campaign management methodologies.\nExposure to planning software such as:\nPrimavera P6\nMicrosoft Project\n\nWorking knowledge of:\nSAP\nEDMS\nMicrosoft Office Suite\n\nCertifications & Additional Requirements\nValid offshore safety certifications, including:\nBOSIET / T-BOSIET\nH?S Certification\n\nNot the job you are looking for?
